The one hotel thing that I'm not really aboard on is the "fog" window from the bedroom to the bathroom. Looking at it you can't really see anything until someone presses up on it. Was hanging out in one of those rooms talking it up, then I go "Is that an ass?" as I saw one of my friends plant his cheeks on that window from the bathroom lmao

Over the years and recent dynasty warriors, he's been kinda nerfed and not the terror that he was in 4-5. But now there's so much uproar that aside from the first boss, he seems to be the mid-game difficulty spike and wall.

However, I fought him the other day and while I was expecting some monumental uphill battle, I managed to down him in about 5-7 attempts. This isn't to brag. Maybe I got lucky and maybe Sun Jian's sword MA carried me, because I for sure am not some Wo Long prodigy lol. But it still made me appreciate that the fight is FAIR. The difficulty of it isn't some cheap mechanics, besides some hyper armor here and there. It's really just a mid-game check of "Are you solid with the game's deflect/parry mechanic yet?" and it left me satisfied and confident.

I still have some dumb deaths here and there tho because like I said, I'm not a Wo Long genius at all lol.

Oh. And I also appreciate that Red Hare is a good part of the fight and doesn't just make it annoying.

I'm about mid-game now and finally kinda enjoying it. It is indeed more Sekiro than Dark Souls which is fine, but it adds a lot of the Nioh RPGness that I like which lends to a variety of builds instead of Sekiro's linearity.

If I HAD to complain about something, it's that the game and animations look rather dated outside of cutscenes. The story is standard Three Kingdoms fare with fantasy thrown which was kinda expected so I'm not too bothered about it.

Okay so I beat Lu Bu. Peeps were super hyping him up but...I feel like he was a fair and not so hard fight. He actually felt like a solid progression check of "okay, it's mid-gane. Let's see if you have your deflects down". No weird delays. No odd timing. Just a solid all around fight. I'm not the greatest at the game yet, but maybe Sun Jian's sword is carrying me hard lol

Having fun so far but I did to stupidly sometimes lol. I haven't gotten a full understanding of all the combat yet, especially the elemental chaining system. And my build/stats is so random lol.

I'm also kinda mad that my favorite weapon is a damn stick lol. But it's so fast and generates spirit greatly

So I haven't been using martial arts like...at all lol. Been using my spirit for the health absorb and defense up. Anyone know any OP martial arts? Maybe specifically for the cudgel?

It definitely feels different. And Idk if it's the animation/graphics but I feel like I'm having a harder time with parry timing than when I first played Sekiro.

First boss was intimidating with two phases off the bat. But after 3 tries his first phase became pretty easy. Then got trounced a bunch second phase. Then managed to beat it around 10 or so tries.

Oh yeah I forgot about the Raid Lairs. I liked the one that ended with you fighting what looked like a huge Hydra(I think you used lasers or something here). It was pretty lame though that the first year of Destiny 2's raids all took place there. I had quit the series right there even though I liked Destiny 1 enough to play it every year and had like 2K hours or something.

Yeah. Its kinda funny because I played D2 with my actual friends, expecting lots of fun from it. But I dropped it way quicker than D1 who I made a guild and made friends with randoms with. Just couldn't stand the laziness and cash shop pandering I guess

That raid was too silly for me back when Destiny 2 was new. The race, the Andross segment, and just this dude in particular were not at all what I expected from a Cabal raid.

I thought it was cool and fun and a change of pace.

But then I got pissed when the hard mode didn't add shit except pallet swapped armor that didn't have anything new or improve anything.

And then I got doubly pissed when the dlc literally just added a new room to the raid instead of a whole new raid.

I had a premonition that they were getting lazy with Destiny 2 when they literally added nothing new to the character creator. The new room just confirmed it
