That would just be purposely trying to work against myself by going somewhere that attracts specific types of people. If you wanna treat everyone who doesn't immediately think like you the same as those who attend Trump Rallies, that's fine tho. I just personally have an interest in the people who fall in-between the extremes. Though, I've even seen interviews from people at Trump Rallies that surprised me too. If with that, I completely understand the judgements they attract. You're not gonna catch me saying it's unwarranted. Doesn't mean I gotta join in if Im more interested in not.

Yeah. Honestly, Im confused most the time myself at where exactly I stand on most topics. I just know the general area lol. Im always waiting for more information and insight tho. Which is why you'll rarely see me commit to a belief, if ever.

That seems to be the case with most online ignorance. It's very easy to let people like that shape your entire world view. You rarely ever run into people who aren't nuanced when you're offline tho. Even if on the surface they say something that sounds extreme. A couple thought out follow up questions can really flesh out your understanding of their understanding. But, if you follow up with judgemental accusations, you might likely get the person to dig their feet in rather than elaborate on their first comment.

Sometimes the way you act towards people ends up influencing the ignorance of the rest of the conversation just as much as their first comment you got sparked from did.

Show tolerance towards the intolerant and you'll be surprised with the results sometimes. Might walk away with a more optimistic view than if you build the rest of your view of them off assumptions and generalizations from what you read online.

This song single handedly changed my perspective on men crying when I was a teen. I was surrounded by "overly" masculine men. But I was always more willong to explore my feelings. Brag, but I was responsible for opening some my friends to conversations about anxieties. It feels good to do that and have that ability. I was always good at talking about deep topics without getting emotional. Though I have my soft spots like everyone else that will choke me up and shut me down.

I'm not good with when, but I do know it happened when I thought about my dead dog.

Before my dog passed away, I cried when I lost him for 20 minutes while on vacation by a mountain. We climbed the side and I lost him on the way down. I had all my focus on catching myself on trees so my momentum wouldn't have me roll down the side of it.

I was scared he wouldn't know how to get back before we had to leave the next afternoon.

My dog died last year. Was over a month before I went a day without crying. And a couple more before I went a week. Before that, Id cry maybe once a year.

I backed video games and rap music as soon as I could decide for myself. I backed all the best horses lol. Not that that's unique. I just happened to be one the many that got sucked into the 2 growing hobbies that would pass everything else in the years to come.

Or is this just another post where someone vaguely insults me but doesn't actually care if I receive the tools to be able to do better or be more self aware where they feel Im lacking. Cause those are incredibly annoying.

Also, saying some is projecting without specifics of how is basically just saying someone uses their own thoughts and habits as a reference point to judge others by. Which, before putting a negative spin on it is just saying someone feels like others are connected through similar life experiences. You gotta actually get to the insulting specifics for it to hit. Literally everyone projects stuff once in awhile. It's being human. I still don't see how that applies to that post tho. At most I just have a wrong perspective on most of us being underweight or overweight because I didn't actually take a head count.

You don't really realize how nuanced the average person is until you stop getting all your socializing input off the internet. Which isn't all one sides fault. A lot of people just don't care to explain themselves deeper until they're actually pressed in person where they actually feel a sense of responsibility to dig deeper. Id chill in person with anyone here. Cause I know it would be completely different from how they're perceived here. Attitudes would be turned down and they'd think out their responses more. And that includes me.

That's cool. I don't feel like anyone is obligated to respond to anyone on here. If you're no longer entertained by the conversation, why even bother. Plus, making a mountain out of an anthill is kind of just what I do lol. It can be good if you feel like getting into deeper discussions, but it can also be annoying if you weren't trying to do that atm. I don't expect everyone to just be ready to jump down my rabbit holes lol.

Which is funny, cause that's what happening in this topic in the opposite way. Not everyone who has beliefs wants to enforce them on everyone else.

I personally wouldn't want a baby created from my sperm to be aborted. It would be emotionally taxing. But, I don't care what others do and I realize I can't (and don't want to) control a woman to have a baby. But it doesn't mean I can't fight for what I want in any capacity.

And people always say "this isn't the conversation". And yes, it's because the normal conversation has been overdone and it makes sense to further the conversation ot make it more personal and actually get into nuances instead of just go over the same talking points for the millionth time

Next time move your panic attack up a few hours. You do this my smoking too much weed. You can knock that panic attack out early and be in the aftermath by bedtime

Im not attacking you. If my posts come off aggressive, it's not my intention. But in all fairness, you started this energy by saying dude didn't appreciate his wife just because he wanted to play a video game.

Im just trying to spread the importance of realistic standards when it comes to relationships. And this doesn't even have to be intimate relationships. The best way to be prepared is to know you might not always be in the mood when you gotta emotionally support someone. And hell, even if you initially aren't, you might find the mood halfway through the interaction.

So, it's important to not put so much judgement on if someone is in the mood for something or not. Because if anything, it makes them an even better partner if they can still do something for the other while not in the mood. That's probably the most important strength you can have in a relationship. Otherwise, everything you do for the other would still be selfish because you're only doing it cause you want to and get something out of it. You wouldn't be learning how to be selfless. Which is what you need for longevity

Lol. You're gonna be disappointed when you actually get into a relationship, if you think it's all 100% being on the same wave link as your wife. I feel like you took his post too literal. But him in a relationship, he knows it's not just a hug in-between him and doing what he feels like doing. And it's about overriding your own wants for your loved ones. It's unrealistic to have two people in the same mood every day

That "Id be in the mood 100% of time" comes from inexperience. He also said "wanted to", which could imply he's thinking about his wife and overriding his own wants to satisfy hers. Don't judge the man so quickly

This is a lose/lose situation. Cause some people like when they come over and keep checking and others will complain thay they keep getting bothered and can just tell them when they need them. It's a situation where you can't please everyone. I personally prefer to just let them know. But I get it when they come check up.
