Easy. You don't. You fix poverty period for everyone. Race doesn't matter.

The country has an utter economic level issue that keeps being exacerbated due to how it compounds.

That's the thing. It doesn't matter where it came from. That's there and then. If there was a reason to cause it or not doesn't matter now. What matters now is the inequality. You address the present. Racial profiling has to do with crime rates. Crime rates disproportionately higher because disproportionately minorities are poorer. Etc. It all boils down to that.

What's the additional handicap? The handicap is wealth inequality. Higher incarceration rates, etc, all boils down to economic inequality.

Im supposed to use it to refresh missions? I thought people used it to buy variants and stuff. I feel like the game fills up with enough missions a day. Maybe if they increased the weekly rewards to 30 or more it would be nice to consider

I think people believe that yes because of the past. I think also people treat African Americans in some cases worse because of the past and the history or otherwise we learn from school or at home.

It's why I said if it all magically disappeared, I believe America would be better off. If parents didn't pass on their racism to their kids. If people didn't blame the past for their position today. Etc. The racial divide honestly doesn't really have to be what it is in this country now.

I see my son falling into so much "passive racism" in his youth that I have to course correct all the time. Just last weekend when watch Save the Last Dance he said something I felt was troubling, and I had to talk to him about it.

Luckily every generation has gotten better and better, but ironically our past is what keeps it alive.

My African American history college course focused a lot on slavery, but it focused moreso on the Nadir period, which our professor argued was far and away the worst period for African Americans.

A lot of time was spent on the motivations of Abraham Lincoln, motivations behind "abolitionists" and their actual racism, and so on.

The problem with it is that it full circle sows division.

It's part of our history so it should be taught, hence the magical part.

It creates animosity now for the past.

Because part of the reason the AP African American studies course didn't focus on slavery is they said students said they were already taught about slavery too much

Yeah seems so. So this is probably something that happens all the time, but it is just making headlines because they disagree with Desantis or so on what he decided.

Whether you agree with his decision or not, it seems to have always been this way pretty much everywhere. The difference is I suppose that it's a crime to not comply (which you could argue both ways to whether that makes sense). Either way. I don't see the fascism here. An elected body is developing a curriculum. Unless I am missing something, don't see it.

It's not remotely close because even if they were "banning books" it is only in public schools which isn't the same as banning books at all.

And it still isnt because all schools still teach slavery.

We have a warped idea of what fascism is in this topic, which probably explains why a person or two thinks like 100 million Americans are fascist or something.

A gaping chasm away. America would have to have immense changes in it for fascism to ever thrive. It would undoubtedly immediately spring up a civil war and be the end of America as a national power.

None of us were accusing you of being anything less than 100% genuine about it.
