Well outside of special events or shop bundles, you only get offered/unlock variants for cards you already own, so that part is not that surprising

Lizard is still viable even at higher levels. Good cost to power ratio, with ways to avoid or disable his drawback

But yes, all of your Mystery Cards will be random Series 1 cards until you get them all by Collection Level 214. Everyone at that CL will have the exact same cards, then you move into Series 2, rinse, repeat.

Both would copy all Ongoing effects from the other dude, including Super Skrull (pointlessly, since Super Skrull already has Super Skrulls Ongoing ability <_<)

The effects dont stack or anything.

I still think Rogue is better because she takes one away

Debating making a MODOK discard deck because MODOK is love MODOK is life.

It seems like the way to do it is to have MODOK, Pooky, Swarm, Morb, Dracula, and America. And fill in the rest how you like. Pooky won't die, you get a good 6 energy card to play every time after he nukes everything, and Swarm can be added anywhere for 0 cost. Morb racks up the points with MODOK nuke, and Drac absorbs Pooky.

Any other theory crafting anyone has for this?

Seems like the perfect deck for Strong Guy

Keep in mind though that steal doesnt mean copy, it literally means steal. The opponent card LOSES its ability

So when you are playing against Ongoing cards, she can cripple their game plan

I just impulsively bought Rogue because I wanted her and having her sooner means potentially getting Variants of her sooner. I dunno how much work shell do for me without some other cards, but her ability is based on stealing an enemys Ongoing so it feels like its more of what my enemy has than my own deck anyways. If they have no Ongoings I guess she would just not be played by me that match?

Unless youre just desperate for her whopping 1 base power somewhere, lol

Yeah its not like being a whale gets you cards significantly faster. The only real unfair advantage of being a paid player is that every month you will have access to one featured new card that f2p players wont

Theres LOADS of strategic depth to it IMO. Granted this is my first card game so I have nothing to compare it to, but its far from just Marvel fanboys collecting their faves

Not really vibing with MODOK yet but I'll figure out a way to use him. I've tried Hela and Mephisto and while they've both worked the decks aren't very fun. I might need to wait till Dracula.

This sounds like youre saying you prefer the party that keeps other people below you instead of bringing them to your level, if the rich are getting richer anyway

I believe it is the latter which is an infinitely harder problem to solve and why some companies try to do blind interviews

I believe its a prejudice problem which can even work against white people when they are up for tech jobs against Asian American applicants

In fact in a world where everyone snapped to one homogenous race it would be extremely unfair to treat people differently based on their previous race. But this is why race is only one axis of privilege with rich privilege being the largest. It seems like people sometimes bend over backwards trying to eliminate or reduce racial, sexual, or gender privilege when really it was just economic privilege the entire time
