Confession time:

There's a lot of hot regular girls at the gym. and I do 1-3 second glances at some, from time to time via mirrors. I'll even walk past a couple times on my way to legitimately get water or spray paper towels with disinfectant.

I feel like absolute shit doing it. I would never go up to them, make direct eye contact, or talk to them cause I wouldn't want to interrupt their work out and I'm shy anyway. Usually pretty controversial to hit on people at the gym also.

But how would they know? I feel like shit and that last thing I would want to do is creep them out. I just can't help it as a single dude.

You know when I was younger one time I actually was slapped by a girl. This was probably late middle school, early high school age? Old enough to have started hitting puberty, etc. but not fully grown, you know what I mean?

Anyways a group of us were hanging out and this girl was bugging out about something, I cant remember what anymore, but she slapped me as hard as she couldI didnt react and so she slapped me again, and again I didnt do anything. She slapped me probably a good four or five more times, knocking my glasses off my face, and eventually I had enough and I slapped her back. She immediately burst into tears and ran away, and everyone started freaking out. I felt like absolute shit because I hadnt even put my full strength into it or anything, but you could tell she was really hurt. She ended up having a black eye and everything, it was a fucking nightmare.

Bottom line is, I wasnt a huge kid or anything but when you pump a body full of testosterone its going to do a hell of a lot more damage than one that is full of estrogen. And I wasnt old enough at the time to understand that, and the guy in that video probably isnt either. But you should never, ever, be escalating physical violence against someone weaker than you. Imagine kicking a childs ass because they decided to slap you or something. Like come on now. There are better ways to deal with that sort of situation.

And Im not saying she was justified in smacking him eitherno one should be slapping or punching anybody unless they are a Nazi or something like that. But the response is uncalled for, completely, and the misogynist men who eat this shit up like hungry dogs are telling on themselves in a big way.
Do not feel bad at all. She attacked you completely unprovoked. Not once, not twice, but 4-5 times. She was a bully and didn't expect you to hit her back, most likely because you were a dude, or just someone who didn't expect to fight back.

I dunno the context of the video. Like did he do some really fucked up shit to her to have her angry enough to hit him?

Otherwise if it's stupid nin seriously shit or bullying, people should check their privilege. Everyone should expect themselves to be hit back, or at least restrained if they get hit. Anyone who thinks otherwise (that they can hit someone and not get an opposite but equal reaction) is stupid. If they (bullies for example) don't get checked, they will walk their lives doing awful shit and get away with it, AND think it's okay, for as long as possible.

And it goes through all walks of life. Awful Coworkers, abusive personal relationships etc.

Besides wine and supplements, resveratrol can be found in berries and peanuts even.
Doesn't seem like there is substantial evidence that resveratrol increases life span or help with diabetes, heart health, skin health, Alzheimer's or anything

I mean I got this from Wikipedia, but at least it has sources to back it, and it's doubtful.

I don't know if I can trust alcohol fully anymore, in terms of drinking for "health benefits." Would not be surprised if those studies were done by/for the alcohol industry to get more $$$ from people. Even with wine, I dunno if benefits outweigh the costs. Alcohol increases cancer risk in the mouth, throat, voice box and esophagus. Also is linked to cancer to other parts of the body.

https://www.cancer.org/healthy/cancer-causes/diet-physical-activity/alcohol-use-and-cancer.html

I have a beer every now and then. Maybe once every week or two.

Soda has it's own issues as well. Especially if it has full of sugar or some of the artificial sweeteners. Some soda/carbonated water does have added nutrients (Sparkling Ice). Might be better off drinking carbonated water with no sweeteners, if you need a drink.

The horror--how will socially ill-adjusted CE manage????
Umm.. There's a lot of things that can, hell, will go wrong, even if you establish rules from day 1. Some roommates/housemates don't respect boundaries. I have literally had a roommate come into my room at least twice without my permission to turn off the light in my room, because I was away for like 10 minutes. Either way, you don't do that shit.

I've also was away one time over summer break and ready to move out (had one month left lease) and the dumb ass owner of the house opened my door for spring cleaning and left it unlocked. When I came back, I noticed the camera in my drawer cabinet was missing. Somebody fucking stole it.

Then you may have to deal with house/roommates who being people over and have parties with music behind your back/not even yelling you, while you are in your room studying. And they get mad when you call them lot for it.

As well as house/roommates that don't clean up after themselves and leave a mess/don't do their chores.

I am long done with the college life.

I have a couple co workers that commute 2 hours each way, they say because the area pays more which is true but I don't think 12+ hours committed to 8 hours of pay is worth it.

Longest work commute I've had is 30 minutes and I hated it, current is 10 minutes.
My commute to work is 30-40 minutes in the morning and 45-60 minutes on the way back.Sometimes 75 minutes or worse on bas accident days. I'm used to it. I work in the city, so it pays more. What I find annoying is having to pay for the fucking toll everyday. That's basically as much as the gas itself everyday.

I also like what I do, I'm good at it, like my coworkers, and boss. My pay is decent and I should be getting a promotion in the summer.

I think traveling 35 miles is the limit for me. I wouldn't wanna go further than that.

If you are in a 10-30 minute drive from work and it's a good job, consider yourself lucky. I have some just hate their jobs and refuse to commute longer than their 15 mile trip to work. You open yourself to a lot more opportunities by willing to travel a little further. If the compensation (pay and benefits) are worth it, I'd consider it. Even better if you find a place you like working for and have reliable and good people to work with, which is rare.. but you won't know until after you get the job and been there for a few weeks to a month.

If it's too expensive to live nearer, can't they live with roommates to make it cheaper?
Some people have families. And a lot don't want to live with roommates.

And their cost of living may be a lot cheaper where they are vs closer, and they could be trying to save money temporarily.

I do think it's insane when people spend 1.5 hours or more commuting to work everyday. I had a boss who would spent at least 4 hours a day commuting to work everyday for like the first 7 months be worked. That was insane. I'm glad he moved a lot closer.

Yep, and majority of people aren't getting enough, while going well above their sodium limit in the U.S. at least. It sort of counteracts sodium's high blood pressure.

. 3500mg for the average man and 2600 for the average women for potassium. I don't even get near those levels. I don't know how anyone does. A banana has about 400mg.

Spinach, yam, avocados, some legumes, fish avocado, fish like salmon..
