I've only seen The Martian and Interstellar.

The Martian > Interstellar, IMO.

The Martian was just this (often) funny survival movie, that helped you appreciate man's ingenuity using what he's learned.

Interstellar had amazing visuals and interesting concepts, but I wasn't feeling it overall.

I stopped the video as soon as he started laughing :/

Max Payne 3, IMO.

if you're willing to try out western RPGs, I recommend:

• Disco Elysium - might have the best writing in a game from last gen
• Divinity: Original Sin 2 - might have the best gameplay mechanics in a turn-based game; experimentation is rewarded
• Wasteland 3 - great gameplay mechanics, great writing, many story options
• Torment: Tides of Numenera - just a really cool world

I disagree.

I liked Ichiban and his friends, and some of the lower stakes stuff earlier on, like trying to find jobs, but the whole conspiracy stuff, like the other Yakuzas have, dragged things down, for me.

There were actually hints about that stuff through most of the intro and story after, but it was entirely behavior based. Didn't really get spelled out.

anyway, I saw the episode, and I liked it.

it was familiar enough with what I knew, plus it did other stuff differently, so it felt like I could enjoy the same basic story in a new way.

there's only one element I don't like, and it's Louis' brother

personally, it didn't resonate with me.

the pacing was off, and the theme of adults, with their corrupted hearts, messing up society was pretty meh, IMO.

the boring, archaic mechanics also didn't help.

that sucks.

imagine putting in all that work to make Disco Elysium one of the most highly regarded indies in years, and then having someone come in and push you out of what you helped build.

I was just responding to another post; I don't have any issue with it.

I tried to keep up once, but I tapped out halfway through, I think.
