To be fair it takes several months to a year for pregnancy hormones to level out post birth. Like I said, I ended up taking meds. It was 3 months after birth and I was diagnosed with postpartum panic disorder. My mind was a constant loop of panicking and imagining myself or child dying it was terrifying. I would be up at night checking on her multiple times or worrying about her. The hormones really do a number on your body for a while.

I wasnt trying to slap the shit out of TC with the harsh reality hands lol. I was trying to make things better.

Postpartum depression/anxiety/panic is also relatively low, only about 8% of pregnant women end up getting it. I mean 8% is still high, its certainly not rare, and it sucks that you went thru it.. Or anyone else for that matter. But on the bright side theres about a 92% chance TC doesnt end up with it (without digging up personal and family history info).

My wifes hormones was the worst during the first 5 months of pregnancy for both my kids. After the births the hormones went crazy again sure but nowhere near as bad as the first 2 trimesters.

But everyone is different. Birthing children isnt an exact science.

yea. my wife had a kid with someone who is now an ex, they didnt work out but the guy is a good father figure to his son and they were good at co-parenting after splitting. i would go to his funeral. if he was an abusive asshole or something then no, but just based on the fact that he was an ex of my wife doesnt mean he is a bad person. i have plenty of ex's that i'm actively friends with, not every breakup means you end up enemies.
