neither of those poll options apply to me, so i didn't vote. i actually wash them with soap and a washcloth, but i do it in the shower.

I thought that's what TC was asking. Like do you actually scrub your feet, or just call them clean, because the soap from the rest of your body passed over them.

Mario games would probably work. My ex was terrible at games, but she had a lot of fun with the co-op on Mario 3D world and New Super Mario Bros.

Maybe Borderlands as well, if she doesn't mind you doing most of the work

does anyone else remember when the PS5 was announced and they did all those technical showcases and made it sound like the PS5 having an SSD was revolutionary technology that would completely change all gaming as we know it and sony fans everywhere went wild with the possibilities that this new innovation brings us

The current consoles both have SSD's and that will bring changes going forward. It means games won't have to use gimmicks like *slowly squeeze through a crevasse* to hide the game loading assets. And games will be able to have more things happening on screen.

Yep. He should blame the Sony execs, not the fans. Sony didn't feel the sales numbers were good enough to green light the sequel, and felt that it would be better for Bend Studios to assist with other games that were in development.

We've reached the stage where consoles are just like PC and mobile gaming, and don't really need generations to differentiate. Microsoft gets this, but Sony doesn't want to, so it all seems kind of half baked.

Like, things are made for Android, iOS and Windows, which are platforms. As opposed to "made for the PS5". Better hardware just gets you better performance.

This isn't true at all. Hardware makes a huge difference in what games are capable of. When a game is designed around weaker hardware, then yes, better hardware means better performance for the player.

But for the developer, it affects everything. Better hardware means more assets can be on screen at once, more complex A.I. behavior and A.I. pathfinding can be created, more complex shading and lighting can be used, environments can be more reactive to player actions, the physics engine can be more robust and realistic, etc. There's a lot going on under the hood that will be helped or hindered by what the hardware can handle.

So if you have a game on multiple platforms, it has to be built around the weakest hardware. Otherwise, the weakest platform will experience all kinds of issues. Which is something we saw with Cyberpunk 2077. It was an absolute mess on PS4/Xbox One. But it was fine on PS5, Xbox Series X and high end PC's.

Well the alternative was there being lots of exclusives that people couldn't play because the PS5 was hard to get. From what I've seen, Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7 and God of War Ragnarok were originally planned to be PS5 only.

Oh for sure. Hyper Sonic is kind of ridiculous. Invulnerable, super strength, doesn't need air and can run/fly at the speed of light.

Insecurity is a hell of a thing. If you don't like how you look, it can be hard to accept compliments. Every "wow you're so attractive" turns into negativity. They're lying to make me feel better, they're trying to trick me, etc. It can get really bad for people and it's hard to get out of that mentality.

Nah, this one I can actually believe was accidental. There are definitely people dumb enough to play around with a gun. Remember the 2 drunk guys who took turns shooting each other while wearing a vest?

That said though, I believe that not only should he face criminal charges, but he should be fired and never be allowed to be a cop again. He clearly doesn't take guns seriously enough and that's scary for a cop.
