I'm starting to think that ancient 4chan meme "drink sponsorship can" was onto something

Every day I take my fresh single origin beans, grind them to a specific fineness, add to my aeropress, immersion blend for a specific length of time with a specific temperature of water, filtered if I can get it

And even I hate coffee nerds. Like I don't want to talk about it, just let me enjoy the thing without being embarrassing.

Every time it's good for about an hour or two and then it starts peaking and then I'm into 3 or 4 waves of pure existential dread and thought spiralling. Its probably only an hour but it feels like the longest night of my life.

Whenever someone's like "these are pretty strong so have a quarter of a cookie" I take like 1/5th, and this still happens.

Maybe just not for me.

For a while I had "just looking for casual" as one of the filters on my profile, and that dramatically reduced the number of matches as well as the quality of them.

I think there's a slightly toxic trait in a lot of people (including myself) where we want to fuck but we want the other person to like us just a little bit more than that.

Really sad. Gotta wonder what that kids life has been like up to this point to have that sort of reaction to something so trivial.

I haven't been interested in anything marvel since end game.

Thanks. What I've learned lately is humility. I'm 35 so I'm not trying to break records, but I've been learning the feeling of taking it easier on the weights and focusing on technique, slowing down the movements, etc.

My PC is kinda old so it wouldn't be the cheapest or smoothest upgrade. I'd need a new GPU at a minimum. My CPU...probably serviceable but it's nearly 10 years old at this point, lel. And I'd get another SSD anyway.

On the plus side it's what I use for everything, so I imagine general stuff would be better.

I have a PS4 Pro that I could trade in for a PS5. And I have a library of games there. So that would be the cheaper, easier option. But then it's just a PS5.

I don't exercise regularly, but I have a relatively physical job that requires a lot of standing and moving around. I don't have gains, but I keep weight off much easier. Helps to not eat fast food and calorie dense meals that often.

Would be curious to know how many steps you do a day.

Although I will say it's not quite 2 years. Maybe more like 1.5.

4x a week upper lower. Not too careful about macros but made sure to hit a steady protein target of around .8g per lb. Several cut bulk cycles.

I feel like after 3-6 months of minimal progress you should reevaluate ur diet and exercise regimen.

Put on around 20lbs of muscle, S/B/D - 70-240 / 50-180 / 90-400, went up two shirt sizes, went down a pants size

I went through a period of matching with only eastern european girls on tinder a few years back. Perhaps confirmation bias but my findings were thus:

• They all smoke, like an entire pack a day
• Vanity extends to a highkey eating disorder that they do not think is a problem
• Quite often educated and clever but with no aspirations beyond pumping out 3 kids
• Oh yeah, they want to pump out kids, immediately. Maybe after date 2

If that's what you like then you do you but it caused me some trouble

I found the trick was finding a level of effort that wasn't hard to digest, so long as I could remain consistent. Habits before gains.

There are over half a million police officers in the US. Its quite foolish to brand all of them as abusive, civilian murderers.
Every occupation has bad apples. If an abusive civilian-murdering cop was such a common thing, imagine what our society would look like. Quit parroting stupidity you see on CNN and other pandering news outlets.

The difference is that when you do grossly unethical shit in other occupations you get immediately dismissed without recompense or face some kind of legal justice, whereas cops get transferred to a different department
