I don't know that he would. Trump has zero loyalty and doesn't share power so DeSantis would be giving up his Florida fiefdom to be the guy that stands behind Trump and gets thrown under the bus at the drop of a hat.

If Desantis runs, I hope Trump gets so butthurt and jealous that he would rather run third party and ruin him for a second Biden term than endorse him. It probably won't happen, but it would be amazing.
If Trump somehow doesn't get the Republican nom I can certainly see him doing that and he would definitely take a chunk of his diehards with him.

I can see scenarios where I might take the annuity, but since I only play when it is over a billion I would always take the lump sum. At that point unless you are catastrophically bad with managing your money you should be set for life.

The cash payout this time around is less than half of the annuity amount, but it is still going to end up close to a billion and that is way more than anyone could reasonably spend.

Yeah like when I returned to it, its nice that the crafting log is there, but it does have some issues. But there are entire essential mechanics like potion brewing and enchanting that the game does literally nothing to explain to the player how they work. Good luck figuring out potion brewing without a chart.
Or opening a nether portal, crafting eyes of ender or figuring out what eyes of ender actually do once you craft them. The enchantment system is equally bad, since nothing tells you to set up bookcases around the table to increase the level of enchantments. There are a lot of things that experienced players just work around that would baffle a new player. Outside of the crafting log the game essentially has no way of providing information to players.

The main problem with Monopoly is that actually most people do not play by the actual rules. They complain about it being needlessly longwinded, but most of that is caused by universal house rules that people think are part of the main game.
This is true, but it doesn't mitigate all of the issues of the game being very subject to dice rolls, both your own and other players. That was also just one example, but any game where the players ability to take action starts from a dice roll would probably fall into this group.

According to the TC, roll and writes are not dice games. Not sure why that would be, I think any game that utilizes dice as a key game component would be a dice game. That to me sounds like only games like Yahtzee and Farkle would be dice games. There is a game I really enjoy playing called Tekhenu which is a dice drafting game, but you only roll dice every once in a while to place them before drafting. I assume this would not be considered a dice game by the TC either.
I assume they are referring to classic board games like Monopoly as dice games, where you can theoretically get shut out of doing anything meaningful based solely on bad dice rolls.

People seem to think that a franchise cant fluctuate in quality and once theres a string of bad or subpar content its always going to be bad, so sucks for them to miss out on a great show.
It isn't that I don't think content can get better, I just don't care if it does anymore. Its not like I was some super fan that decided to boycott it out of some sense of betrayal, it was just a thing I lost interest in.

Besides the fact that Andor is going to be a hard pass for a lot of people, because we already know the fucker dies in Rogue One. At this point telling his backstory is mostly meaningless and less engaging. It's like how everyone complained that Marvel didn't bother putting out the Black Widow movie until after they'd already killed Natasha.

Sure, you could argue that "knowing what happens with Vader didn't ruin the prequels!", but you'd kind of be wrong because the prequels sucked.
This is honestly one of my peeves about Star Wars in general. They keep slicing the same chunk of time up to tell stories and we all know where it ends. MOVE ON!

You can't even really claim a mental illness in a civil trial, at least not in the traditional sense. Although I guess the flip side of that is you don't have the same limitations as you would in a criminal trial of not understanding the consequences of your actions. Essentially it would be rolling to dice on who the jury would feel more sympathy for, which is a high bar when the other side is a bunch of parents that had their kids murdered.

Musks portion includes a giant $12.5 billion margin loan secured by his equity stake in Tesla Inc. (TSLA). The remainder comes from bank financing secured by Twitters own assets, a classic leveraged buyout arrangement."
