Got a rowing machine. I did a 15 minute class and today my back muscles are feeling it. I think my form is wrong though my legs didn't do much work but my lower back felt pretty tight afterward.

I thought that was the point. It was a light hearted episode poking fun at those types of shows.

I'd also add that cast iron skillets can be had for really cheap used. Reseasoning them is pretty easy as well, I've done it before and it just takes some time. Definitely worth it for steaks and they do other things well like eggs and bacon.

Biggest thing for me is not to fuss with it. It only gets flipped once. Another option is to sear it with high heat first and put it in the oven. I find that way is tough to mess up especially with a thermometer.

I once dishwashed in a restaurant and they had a liver dish and it was always old people that ordered it. That stuff stuck to the plates worse than anything else on the menu except like the french onion soup cheese.

Lived on Long Island for about 5 years and have gone into the city many times both for recreation and for work. Thought about moving to Queens to the extent I was visiting rooms for rent but decided against it.

Decent place to visit and easier than most cities in the US to get around with public transit. But it's frankly too much constant stimulation for me for more than short trips. Also too many people trying to pull one over on you while you're just trying to walk down the street; I just want to be left alone.

I may be biased because I worked in environmental consulting so a lot of the places I went to for work were the nastiest industrial parts of the city where environmental issues were prone to happen.

The strip club let's you touch the dancers?I've never been in one, but from what I've read they tend to have a "hands off" policy.

I went to one in Montreal where they had a back room you go in alone with the stripper and you can touch anything except the underwear area.

Also when I got a lap dance I just would kinda push the limits. They are usually tactful about moving my hands back if I'm going too far.

IIRC they are technically illegal in NY if they are covering any of the plate information. Not something that's usually enforced but could be used as an excuse to pull you over if they have no other reason.
