Besides ignoring the fact that at some point you need to stop infantilizing people and if you prolong treating them like they can't make their own decisions it makes it harder for them to grow up...

I was very thankful the one time a 40-50 gym bro stepped in to show me how to bench press properly. I've had crippling injuries in the past that kept me from working out for 6 months at a time or more and I was thankful he came around to show me a correct form because I did not have that shit down.

Once the Skypiea arc hit, shit was wayy to long and I switched over to the colored manga which was gorgeous

There's nothing wrong with wanting visually accurate portrayals of characters, just look at The Last of Us show people are bugged because Ellie doesn't look like Ellie from the video game.

Another recent example people were bothered because Tom Holland looks nothing like Nathan Drake.

It doesn't have to just be race, people like characters to look like their character. Trying to pin it on racism is just a scapegoat for making shitty adaptations.

Alternative methods just aren't convenient unless it's like for one show you don't want to wait to watch.

Having hundreds of shows at your fingertips is great and convenient. Alternative methods don't let you just pick something at a whim.

If I felt I had to watch that much I probably swap out streaming services every once in awhile after depleting a catalog but I don't even that much.

This narrative needs to end. People in my the left hate it too. Race swapping is a lazy way to create black characters for the sole purpose of virtue signaling points.

To paraphrase the words of a black tik toker I was watching, black people deserve original characters like Static Shock and Kimberly from Street Fighter. No one asked for black shaggy, the guy eats dog food. Also original characters feel more like real people who can be related to.

I wasn't okay with it when characters were white washed, now why are people okay with black/brown washing? This is what we call consistency, otherwise it's hypocritical.

According to my state laws they're allowed to work 40 hours if they're on break in summer. 18 max while in school with curfew.

I don't know anything about film production but but here's me thinking 18 hours is plenty. I guess they can't really work around doing it in summer for the full 40 hours.

To be honest I'm surprised they even used somebody who was young as 18/19. There is an issue with using girls in their twenties that "look young" to play parts of young teen girls. Because it's so common girls who look youthful or petite in their twenties have a real self-image problem because they're constantly told they don't look like a grown woman. I knew two girls with this problem at my last job theat were 21 and 24.

There's not a shortage of teen girls that look like Sarah or Ellie, why not cast them? In general why don't we cast more teenagers or age appropriate people to play their part?

As a long time call of duty player, yes Activision has been fucking us in the ass for a long time.

The last good call of duty nobody liked because it was world war II and it took the second half of the year to reform the multiplayer into something amazing, this was cod WW2. Divisions were amazing giving you a set of perks to go with your custom class.

Activision only cares about bringing in new players not keeping them. it's skill-based matchmaking is a double edged sword as new lobbies reform every time you finish a match so there's no time to build rivalries. And because you're matched against similar level players you'll never fight somebody who is super difficult, it will just be the whole team that's evenly difficult. Most of us enjoyed having one or two really good players to test our skill against.

Power has slowly shifted from Perks into attachments which wasn't a bad thing until we started going overboard now we can put 10 attachments on each gun with no drawback and there's a huge power gap between a kitted out gun and a naked one. This makes trying out new guns very unrewarding which creates a stale experience.

This is the first year I haven't bought the call of duty since I began playing when Black ops 1 first came out (minus ghosts and infinite warfare lol). Though I did go back and play world at war, and MW1/2, all of which put modern call of duty's to shame.

Rittenhouse had really good trigger discipline, he only fired when he needed to and never executed anyone. I guess its the Robber aspect that has gamefaqs defending this guy. I think he should get a fine but no jail time.

I hate going to the theater because of how you can't really leave if the movie is bad because someone else you went with might enjoy it and you paid good money for it. It kind of feels like a trap.

I also haven't watched a Shrek movie since Shrek 3, can't honestly remember if I watched it because maybe it was that bad.

I'm a security guard for third shift so it's the dead of night and nobody's around so I can usually just play games or watch videos on my phone. I can even work out in my booth with resistance bands in my bag.

It's not like I'm slacking either because there's just not a lot the job requires a view besides going on a patrol every few hours on specific nights, taking down truckers information on the rare occasion they show up in opening the gate for them and the janitor, signing off on a few things.

No the pay isnt amazing but since the job's really easy I could ask for overtime if I want it but I'm so lazy.
