The Anunnaki came to Earth to mine gold, because the atmosphere on their home planet, Nibiru, was badly damaged. They needed gold to repair their atmosphere. They initially used the Igigi as basically slaves to mine gold for them:

ESPN will begin layoffs early next week as part of parent company Disney
s cost cutting efforts, according to people familiar with the matter.

Cuts will include some on-air talent and management, said the people, who asked not to be named because the discussions are private. The number of layoffs at ESPN is unclear and the decision process is still fluid.

An ESPN spokesperson declined to comment.

Disney is eliminating 7,000 jobs in three rounds, with the second round happening next week, said the people. The company will also lay off about 15% of the staff in its entertainment division next week, Bloomberg reported this week.

Disneys first round of cuts occurred last month and included its metaverse strategies unit and part of its Beijing office.

Disney is slashing costs under CEO Bob Iger as it tries to boost free cash flow as streaming losses persist. ESPN is interested in renewing a contract with the National Basketball Association and will likely have to pay a significant premium on the $1.4 billion per year rights fee it already pays the league. Renewal discussions with the NBA are already taking place, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Disney said earlier this year it plans to cut $5.5 billion in costs, including $3 billion in content spending.

I will say one thing about Arizona: they at least try to do outreach here even if I dont agree with them when they do. In California, nobody has ever knocked on my door to try to get me to vote a certain way. Its happened twice here in Arizona lol.

I can confirm that I am not that guy.

She identified herself as a "community activist" asked if she could count on my vote for something about making a billionaire pay more taxes or something. The election is on May 16th, and I told her I was moving back to California in about a week, which I am.

She then tried to get me to sign some petition for something about minimum wage and hotel workers. I told her I'd rather not, and she left.

They haven't put out anything that interests me since Dark ended and Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance got canceled.

I haven't been to New Orleans for almost 20 years, but here are some of the things I remember other than Cafe du Monde:

1. Preservation Hall: I think this is where Louis Armstrong started or got famous? It's a tiny, historic venue that still has live music:

2. The French Quarter is famous, but what I didn't know until I got there is the blues quarter, which is within walking distance from there. I don't know if there's a different name for the area, but it was cool. Every bar had live ragtime bands instead of a DJ.

3. Obviously, try the Cajun food. There was a lot of amazing food I tried there, but I can't remember the names of any of the restaurants.

4. We were walking around one night, and someone said we were walking by Anne Rice's house. It looked spooky since it was at night.

That's about all I remember.
