Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp

The game was first announced back in 2017 and has undergone development shakeups, including getting a new creative director. Studio managing director Hugues Ricour also left his position in late 2020 over harassment and bullying allegations."

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum
"We won't be able to get our "handses" on The Lord of the Rings: Gollum until 2022. The game's planned 2021 launch got pushed early in the year, with companies Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon partnering on the project moving forward. It's still planned to release on several different systems, including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC."

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
"Originally planned for a launch this March, the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake was delayed to an unclear future date back in February. Ubisoft cited wanting to make a remake that still feels fresh while staying true to the spirit of the original version, but it didn't specify how long the delay would be but it's planned for 2022. The series has been largely on ice since Assassin's Creed exploded in popularity over a decade ago."

Hogwarts Legacy
"Hogwarts Legacy, a game set in the 19th century of Harry Potter's world, was scheduled to release in 2021 and was then delayed to Holiday 2022. That didn't happen, either, as the game is now scheduled to release in February 2023. The PC, PlayStation, and Xbox versions will release at this time. However, the Nintendo Switch version is coming at a later and undetermined date."

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2
"A game awash in controversy and production issues, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 got delayed late last year to a 2021 date. Since then, publisher Paradox chose to delay the game again, this time out of 2021 completely. Furthermore, a new developer is working on the project, replacing Hardsuit Labs, which was subsequently hit with layoffs. It's one of a few troubled projects that previously involved writer Chris Avellone, who was later accused of sexual misconduct, though none of his contributions are being used."

The Division: Heartland
A free-to-play take on the online multiplayer shooter-RPG, The Division: Heartland has been moved to April 2022 at the very soonest, based on Ubisoft's fiscal calendar. However, this could also put the game as late as March 2023, and it will likely be a bit longer before the company says exactly when it's coming out. Unlike the Massive-led first two games, The Division: Heartland is in development at Red Storm, which previously worked on Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games.

Diablo IV
Everything we said for Overwatch 2 also applies to Diablo IV. The game is now likely not coming out in 2022, making it a possible decade between the game and Diablo III. Blizzard's ongoing controversies and leadership shakeups likely haven't helped matters, though producer Rod Fergusson has become something of a specialist in getting long-in-development games to finally ship.

Marvel's Midnight Suns
The latest game from Jake Solomon and the strategy experts at Firaxis is not yet available on last-gen consoles and Nintendo Switch. These versions of the games were delayed into 2023, though PC and current-gen versions released before the end of 2022.

I won't lie and say that it's not a remake. There are some new things around. But this is a remake worth remaking, and like I said, I've already played this game more times than I can count since its inaugural relase.

I'm conflicted about this episode. On one hand, I'm glad they aren't doing a 1:1 retelling of the story, but this episode didn't do much for me as it expanded on a small part of the story I didn't too much care about.

Didn't expand the over all plot, but does it HAVE to do that on every episode? Here we got to look through the indoor window of two other people loosely connect who survived and thrived in the apocalypse. It's an intersting story of perspective, with a profound meaning that contributes to the theme of the story and characters.

Is the remake worth it in some way?

To me it is, but I am a mega Dead Space fan, so I have bias. However, I do believe all the stellar ratings it is getting are an accuate reflection of how much fun the game is. If nothing subverts it (becaus it is still early), this could easily be a GotY.

Basically, either you view it as not something to invest in as that is not its function, or you view it as a Ponzi scheme based on how you want to go about it from a purely economic perspective. Obviously this does not mean that you cannot make money out of it, but requires that you have some reason to believe that you can get someone else to hold the baggage.

Well you know I actually agree. It's the very thing that made me hold off for sooooooooooooo long before I tried to buy in. I sais to myself, pftt, this is monopoly money. It HAS to be a scam. But then I start seeing everyone taking it seriously and shit. I tried to take advantage I got clipped for it for a small amount :/
