The PlayStation versions of the game contain an option allowing players to either enable or disable crossplay with other platforms, as has been the case in recent CoD titles on all platforms.

However, the Xbox and PC versions are now completely lacking this option, causing players to take to Twitter to voice their frustration.

Some players prefer to turn off crossplay in order to ensure their opponents and teammates are using similar hardware to them.

Console players may wish to turn off crossplay because most PC players use a mouse and keyboard, and PC versions of games are more susceptible to cheat software.

Meanwhile, because console versions tend to have aim assist as an option, some PC players may prefer to only play against other PC players to avoid playing against aim-assisted opponents.

Since the option is enabled on the PlayStation version of the game, this means PS4 and PS5 owners can choose to only play against other PS4 and PS5 players.

However, Xbox and PC players currently have no in-game option to disable crossplay, meaning they have to take on players on other systems without blocking them platform-wide.

Unless the game is patched with the option to turn off crossplay, the only way Xbox players can remedy this is by turning off crossplay on a system level, which will turn off crossplay in all games.

PC players dont have the option to block crossplay on a computer level, meaning until Activision fixes this in a patch theyre stuck playing against console players.

The Kenya Police Service has revealed details on the murder of top Pakistani journalist Arshad Shari, who was shot dead in Kenya on Sunday night.
According to a police statement issued on Monday, Sharif was being driven by his brother Khurram Ahmed when they went past a police roadblock along the Kiserian-Magadi road before they opened fire killing him on the spot.

"It was reported to Magadi police station vide OB 14/23/10/2022 at 22.00hrs that along Kuenia farm/ Kamukuru marram a shooting incident involving GSU officers had occurred and one Pakistan national namely Arshad Mohammed Shariff aged 50 years had been fatally shot while he was been driven in a motor vehicle registration number KDG 200M along that road when the deceased and his brother Khurram Ahmed were driving back to Nairobi," reads the police report.

The whole sad chain started hours earlier when Douglas Wainaina reported to the Pangani Police Station that his car had been stolen and his son Dancan Kamau was in the car.

"It started when officers from DCI Starehe circulated a report of theft of a motor vehicle/abduction vide OB 70/23/10/2022 that one Douglas Wainaina parked his motor vehicle registration number KDJ 700F outside an electrical shop and left his son namely Dancan Kamau inside the said motor vehicle," reads the statement.

The son was later found at Olosuritia ACK Church within Kiserian.

Many kilometres away, Khurram and his celebrated journalist brother Arshad Sharif were driving a totally different car along the Kuenia-Kamukuru rough road in Magadi, Kajiado when the gruesome incident happened.

"Before they reached the Kiserian-Magadi road, they found the road blocked using small stones and they decided to pass them," reads the police report.

"It was then they heard gunshots towards their vehicle directed from the front and rear. They did not stop and proceeded with the journey."

Following the gunshots, Khurran then called his friend Naqar Ahmed, a Pakistani national who resides in the area who advised them to pass by his place.

"On arrival at the main gate, found his brother had died with a gunshot wound on the head which had penetrated from the back of his head and exited at the front side of his head," the police say.

"Upon scrutiny of the said motor vehicle, it had a bullet hole on the left side of the windscreen on the side the deceased was sitting, two bullet holes on the rear left back screen, one bullet hole on the rear right door, four holes right side of the boot and one front right tyre that had been deplated. The said Pakistan nationals claim that they are developers and reside in Nairobi. Scene was documented and the body taken to Chiromo mortuary awaiting postmortem."

Police have since said that the case was a matter of "mistaken identity".

Canada doesn't have anywhere near the gun culture the US does. This is nowhere near as impactful a decision as something similar in the US would be. Unless you have special, special, special privileges you literally can't use a handgun in Canada anywhere but a designated shooting range, and you're literally only allowed to take it from your house to the range and back. You're not even legally allowed to stop anywhere else.

This really isn't going to do anything for gun crime in the country, so it's kind of pointless, but the "ultimate goal" here is to ultimately ban handguns entirely in the country.
