What is the difference between a 3rd world country and a developing country?

Originally the "1st world" was the US and NATO, the "2nd world" was the USSR and the Warsaw Pact, and the "3rd world" were all the non-aligned countries. Since many of the non-aligned countries were also poor countries in Africa or South America, "3rd world" became synonymous with undeveloped countries.

Water is free (other than the electricity to run the well pump). Propane cost about $425 to fill the tank this summer, and one tank usually lasts an entire year. Electric is 10 per kWh and we use about 45 to 105 kWh per day, depending on the weather, plus $30 service charge per month, plus taxes & fees.

Our place is unusual in that it's actually two houses joined together, with separate heating & cooling systems. One side uses propane heat, the other is electric. They have identical air conditioning units. One side has a traditional electric tank water heater, the other has a super efficient hybrid water heater.

Adventures of Mana is a total remake of the Gameboy game originally sold in the US as Final Fantasy Adventure. Completely new graphics and sound, a few new weapons, and various improvements.

Do NOT bother with the sequel, Secret of Mana. They just ported it from the SNES and barely changed anything. And it has a ton of bugs and control issues.

Tesla is almost dead last on Consumer Reports reliability list, 27th out of 28 manufacturers. Only Lincoln scored worse. The Model X is dead last among individual models, scoring just 5 points out of 100!

Here in Nebraska, it was 70F (21.1C) when I went to work at 7 am on Thursday. Yesterday morning at 7 it was 16F (-8.9C), with a wind chill of 3F (-16.1C).

Got both collections with classic and X Mega Man games and I beat a bunch of them way back on the PS2 but I can't remember.
In Mega Man 1-11 or whatever I don't have to worry about collectibles/items correct?

There were extra lives going all the way back to the first game, and Energy Tanks starting with MM2.

Games where you just KNOW something is going to happen as soon as you step through a trigger point.

Like the railroad bridge in Half Life 2. I got to that bridge and I just KNEW a train was going to come through as soon as I tried to drive across. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, just sat there for like 10 minutes, and nothing happened. No sign of a train or anything. And the INSTANT I started across, here comes the train!

You know speaking of game announcements, I don't think any game hyped me up more than Halo when you were getting killstreaks. I mean I vividly remember my first "Killionaire!". but I can't recall any of the times I got anything meaningful in any other game I did well in.

I have a copy of the original Fannie Farmer cookbook from 1896, and it has a recipe for "Baked Macaroni with Cheese"

Cory Doctorow's Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom did something like this. But instead of it being transporters, everyone has a brain implant that backs up their memories and personality. If you die, a clone body is grown and your "backup" is restored into it, creating a new "you" that thinks it's the original.

My grandmother used to make the worst turkey. She was so pissed when I took over the cooking and everybody went nuts for my turkey. Everyone wanted seconds and thirds of mine, while my grandmother always had tons of leftovers.

But she did make an incredible stuffing. She never gave me the recipe, but I remember it had homemade cornbread and hard boiled eggs. I don't think I've ever seen a stuffing recipe that used hard boiled eggs before.
