This is what I get for looking up vampire weaknesses on TVTropes and seeing an entry about a free market capitalist defeating one by wielding a credit card at him.

Did said person actually worship capitalism as their religion though? I mean theres a difference between that and believing in capitalism as an economic system no matter how strong said belief is.

And if so, did they actually have an established history of using credit cards specifically as icons of their faith?

If the answer to both questions is not a solid yes than Im calling bullshit on that scenario.

I wont dispute that Yetis are much nastier, I would not consider them comparable.

But if you are going to dismiss this historic film as just a man in a costume, you should realize that almost all Bigfoot enthusiasts will claim that it shows an actual Bigfoot or is at least an accurate portrayal of one.
