Not to mention they all get at least a cutscene

I do still kind of feel bad that someone lacks outward personality so much they gotta pretend they have an ailment and make that their personality. I doubt anyone actually wants to be that person. If they could understand how to get help out of it and learn to be happy being themselves, they'd probably take it.

I don't think that many people pretend, I do think a lot of people suddenly feel they've got a pre loaded excuse for any toxic behaviour

Only speaking anecdotally but the last person I dated would blame her Bipolar and past trauma for everything she said or did that hurt me(and she had a vicious mouth) and took no accountability/ never apologised for nothing

It was enough for me, someone who has schizophrenia and used to enjoy openly talking about, to think twice about how we view mental health these days. My diagnosis was 10 years ago and I take pride in keeping it mostly private these days(it's also mostly dormant), hers was a few months before I met her, that might have something to do with it. It's all she talked about. Every time she said or did something ridiculous I told myself "it's not her fault, it's her Bipolar". Then when it ended I was left feeling really stupid and a total pushover

There are probably many black holes a lot closer than that to us.

Some people theorize the gravitational anomaly people attribute to planet x may actually be primordial black hole.

In general they arent much to worry about, there are far more dangerous and scary things in the depths of space.

Such as?

Depends how hard you went on the dog. I remember a boyfriend of my moms doing that to my dog and I wanted to hit him. A regular, gentle push is fine.

I wouldn't do it in a situation where I wasn't in my own home. I'm essentially looking after it when she's at work

I mean my dog has stepped on my nuts before but I wouldnt shove her. Its not like she knew what she was doing.

depending on how hard you shoved the dog is my reaction to this. Dogs are pretty tough so a light shove probably wouldnt do much. If you shoved the dog with force thats way too much.

Yeah, I think it was soft, like I said it didn't moan or yelp or make any noise at all, but I obviously had an annoyed face while doing it and I think just something other than complete worship of her beloved dog got to her

Like I'd understand if pushing it off me resulted in it getting hurt or its tail going between it's legs, it didn't give a fuck. I guess the push was pretty soft but the fact I did it at all really triggered her.

It's more she'd prefer I'd try reasoning with or something, or just let do it's thing. She's always going on about the mental health and intelligence of dogs and all I see and experience is this maniac animal being a little shit

She's seen it jump on me in the past and as I winced in pain once from sore nuts she just had this "oh that cheeky dog of mine" attitude. Basically she doesn't view it as an issue at all

Sigh. It's always jumping on me and annoying me, sometimes it jumps on my nuts when I'm on the couch watching tv. I wasn't in the mood today so gave it a push/shove off me and she lost it. She didn't outright call it animal abuse but she was saying how it's not nice and it won't learn anything from me doing that.

I said it's a personal space thing and she said "it's a dog", which is why I feel comfortable pushing it in the first place. It didn't yelp, it didn't care, it kept running around the room without a care in the world and I'm sure itl jump on me again tomorrow.

People who view their animals the same way as children or think everyone has to love them equally, I don't get it.

One problem with guns is just this human desire to use something you own for it's intended purpose (in this case shooting at someone) at least once. You'll find the weakest of justification for doing so after a while.

Regular people shouldn't be allowed to own them

I think it's worth considering alternatives; these apps don't exist in a vacuum.

Yeah, I found myself discouraged at times on Hinge or the other apps, but I also know that they allowed me to have ten times the success that I would've found trying to meet women in person, or flirting with strangers at a bar. For my anxiety, the relative clarity of purpose on a dating app cleared away a lot of the inhibitions I'd feel approaching someone in person.

The bolded part is so true. Before dating apps I'd hang out with girls not knowing if it was an actual date etc, dating apps there's none of that confusion.

You'll strike out more and have people you meet once and never again but you'll never be stuck in this weird "do they know I'm interested in them" thought process
