Granted its not in large quantities but beer has protein, fiber, and small amounts of most essential nutrients. Its also very calorie dense which is why a lot of strongmen will drink a fair bit of beer.

And it moderation its been shown to have quite a few health benefits. Soda has literally 0 health benefits.

There is no study showing the benefits of alcohol specifically. All TC said is alcohol.

I had to look it up for you nitpicks. It's called resveratrol and is sold as a supplement. It's only in certain wines in those studies yall share on facebook about alcohol being healthy. Shocking, it's not the literal poison that's healthy.

I addressed this in the post you quoted lol. Those studies are about certain red wines. It's not the alcohol that's beneficial. It's the fermented grape product I forget the name of. Just put that in soda and it'll be healthier than wine.

Soda for sure not even close. The mild alleged health effects from certain wines in low doses come from the fermented fruit not the alcohol.

I use FSD pretty often. I don't think it's worth the $15,000 they're charging for it at the moment. It's nice, but not $15,000 nice.

haha no way at 15k. I would only do the month subscription just to try it but I'd still have to get a new chip and can't be bothered. I don't mind driving myself I rarely commute long distances.

Are they going to get rid of the self driving feature? How many crashes does it take? It seems like another news story pops up about every two months.

Because a single crash will be reported on over and over for months and most of them are like some drunk guy putting his car in drag race launch mode straight into a wall which obviously wasn't self driving but will be reported as such for attention.

I want an ev and the best deal I can find is a used Tesla so I've been looking into these. Not that I could afford the self driving package and this used Tesla doesn't even have the computer chip to run it even if I could.

Good to remain skeptical about direct translation, but that's not always the goal. Just having information about how these systems generally work provides a gigantic leap forward for producing effective medicine.

I get that and don't mean to crap on what we can learn from these models.

It's more of I'm exhausted by seeing articles like this for decades, alleged breakthrough treatments never to be heard from again, not even a follow up if they were even tried on humans, as the same old treatment protocols that have no success continue to be the gold standard for generations.
