The UK song has been announced now.

Personally I don't think it's anywhere near as good as Sam Ryder's one last year, but to be fair it's pretty catchy, and could be the sort of thing that would get people going in the arena.

Yes. I was hoping for Patty Gurdy, but her performance in the final was horrible. LOTL should do well enough (for German expectations) in Liverpool.

The EBU created and own Eurovision so that has always been the case. Both Israel and Australia have been EBU members for decades. I believe that KAN and SBS are their respective networks currently tasked with handling their membership. In the UK it is the BBC.

American Idol is like a grandkid of Eurovision. Eurovision has aired since 1956 and artists compete with an original song. Sometimes quite famous artists.

Dunno exactly where to start but lets go.

The woman in the yellow jacket is our Vice PM since October. She is extremely impopular due to broken election promises which affect the economy of tons of households and businesses. Her people felt the need to tell the press how much that jacket costs (a lot) after she was mocked for wearing that outfit in a setting which wasnt very cold. The other two people and the board with money is from a TV show where they help people who are in debt. It also says debt to Esbjrn who is an old man she bought a house from. He regretted selling the house and might have dementia so there was a trial about it before she became Vice PM.
