Ten fucking years there and I requested it literally the day I found out I was gonna be a dad which gave them about 8 months notice and it was idk thats a busy time of year

shit you might have to hook me up with a job thats payin you double. I'm not even picky i'll do anything. I don't have my college degree(I ended up having to take a break from college, a lot of stuff happened and i ended up not being interested at all in continuing schooling) so all these jobs requires paraprofessional experience or degrees is kinda disheartening, and i'm invested in this promotion BECAUSE it gives paraprofessional experience... so it's kinda like make or break for me y'know.

what's the job, if you don't mind sharing

basically its handling a judges criminal caseload, scheduling everything, making sure it runs smoothly, communicating with jails, etc.. so at any point you are responsible for managing 400-600 cases and all the attorneys with their adjournments requests and defendants whereabouts and getting them heard in court and whatnots

you'd think I'd be a shoe in because we use zoom a lot since the pandemic and i have singlehandedly prevented some disasters from occurring with my tech skills lol but i am only this worried BECAUSE i know this place tends to not choose the best candidate. Giving such a stressful job to a retirement age person who does not know how to even operate zoom in the digital age seems like a great waste of time.

Honestly i gave up after a while. The problem is the director is always changing and what happens is i get passed up because i look young despite being 40. And then they bring in an older person who most times has no idea what theyre doing. I eventually left for a better opportunity and ran into a colleague from the former place and they said if they had known i wasnt 20 they would have given it me. I guess im good enough to train the manager but not be the manager. -_-

Also common sense would say if i mention during the interview ive been doing this job for 10 years theres no way i started when i was 10. -_-

Anyways, im content with where im at. Management wasnt in the works for me. I should actuallly be grateful. No stress, no meetings, no politics.

I don't wanna give up just yet... i'm 27 and will be 28 in 2023, i'm getting a little too old to have every job be a fresh start, but young enough that I can still rebuild, and definitely young enough that i can decide if staying somewhere is worth my time

I have busted my ass at this job, rarely if ever taken off, have come in person nearly every day,worked after hours for free, covered on extremely short notice, etc.... and i'm also young fresh blood that has shown I can learn and adapt extremely quickly and even train people. I have also declined promotional interviews for other divisions to stay here

and my competition is someone who's been here 30 years, never applied for this job before now, is using PTO all the time, and talks about how they didn't apply before because they're trying to leave and retire and thought the job was too much work but somehow they were talked into applying.

I think I'm the clear favorite amongst the supervisors(a lot of them told me to apply almost immediately after it was posted) but I dunno, i'm gearing up for an upset and shopping around for other places to work. Stupid public sector job so theres no performance based raises or promotions, its basically entirely political lol.

Either way though my saltiness won't last long, it'll be the kick in the ass I needed to realize no job is worth all that effort.

lol i ended up soloing cinderace with slowbro like an hour ago, that fucker was resilient and if i took too long to get off an attack he'd put up his shields and render it all for naught. think i had to use iron defense 3x, nasty plot 2x, then launch that psychic move that scales in BP the more your stats go up. Then once he put up his shield he didn't clear my stats immediately so i got to wail on him a lil bit until he did, then it was literal race against time and I cleared with seconds remaining

In the sequel P5S. I forgot which one but if you read between the lines it's odd, at the very least, that the Request / Side Quest makes her think of Sojiro in her dialogue especially since it involves Mara.

Good question. Futaba is mad overrated and rather unattractive personality wise, not to mention a Request / Side Quest in P5S kind of hints that her and Sojiro's relationship could possibly be inappropriate considering it involves the demon Mara and Futaba goes on about she loves living with Sojiro and is so clingy towards him. Makes a lot of sense why Sojiro essentially asks Ren not to fuck her in the original P5 and P5R.

Haru is 100% a freak in the sheets and prob the freakiest in the entire party. That shy girl act only goes so far. Makoto seems like she'd try stuff but would ultimately settle for vanilla. Ann seems like she'd be slightly kinky but wouldn't go too far, and Futaba has seen some stuff but would definitely be too scared to try it
