Since when have Republicans gave any sort of shit about stopping migrants (or anyone in general) being exploited or child labor? They support both of them. They just don't want brown people in the country.

Yeah there's some real ugliness in some of the old books. One of the chapters in Live and Let Die is actually called (N-word) Heaven. There's plenty of terrible stereotyping and of course the sexism as well that even goes past being an acceptable character flaw of an antihero. It's very off-putting when you read them even though many are pretty good pulp novels.

Still, I don't agree with censoring them or at least am conflicted about it. Leave the cleaning up to the movies or any future adaptations. Then again if it can get some new readers for the books then it's not all bad.

It wasn't bad for a modern AVGN episode, even if that's a low bar. I think with a few tweaks/edits and a bit of re-writing it could be pretty good. I think the Family Guy-esque cutaway jokes aren't very good (the farm bit) and James can be flat when he should put more into it and sometimes overacts when he shouldn't (the torch bit).

How about we ship them out there so they can see it first hand?

I don't like this kind of thinking. As already noted, not everyone in Ohio or any other red state is a Republican Trumper. There are plenty of us innocent people who have to suffer under conservative governments.

Still, conservatives can't say a damn thing. They want deregulation and this is what happens. They also say the meanest, ugliest, bigoted shit to all sorts of people, but the minute they get rightfully shit on back they cry bloody murder about how the left are a bunch of meanies. How many times have the right wished misery and death on others? It's pretty much all the time.

Pretty much. It reminds me of when they went after Mr. Roger of all people and called him evil for daring to say that every child is special and deserves to be loved. What the right wants kids to know is that they are only cogs in the machine and should give their lives up for the rich like good little worker drones.

At some point the right will be against giving poor people names and they should only be called by their employer issued I.D. number. "Worker 772,491, why aren't you at your post doing work? It is not time for your 3 hour sleep allotment."

Not defending her and it is probably a bogus excuse but medication effects different people in different ways.

Medication is like booze: "A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts." I and none of the other people I know who took ambien experienced any racist views.

It's almost like Republicans take pride in being the most horrible human beings they can be.

The only thing the rich and powerful love more than money is keeping workers down and that will take precedent when needed. Workers have to be kept tired and desperate to keep them from upsetting the status quo.

I have a strong feeling this SBC has put up with or kept quiet many things that are actually bad and actually crimes from various members and pastors.

Roseanne herself fell into the trap many older comedians get where they become out of touch and act like today's liberals are trying to cancel them for their offensive, but unfunny jokes. Roseanne even made a racist joke and tried to blame her medication. I take Ambien too and it never turned me bigoted though.

A lot of people didn't like it, but I thought the B-plot of Mike infiltrating the high school and posing as an exchange student to sniff out a rival young drug dealer that endangered Gus' organization was pretty good. Mike getting in trouble and talking Carmen the principal out of suspending him from school was one of the best scenes in both shows. Mike in Walt's class = lol!

I'm not a super fan, but I like a few of their songs. They're fun and I like vocal harmonies.

Supposedly they had plans to remaster it (and GTA 4), but the reception of the GTA definitive editions made them change their minds. It pisses me off though because it's their own fault for outsourcing the GTA games to another game company who half assed it.

It's a 13 year old game and plays more like the older GTA games. I think the graphics and style holds up for the most part, personally.

Yeah, was wanting a more traditional fighting game. Not really interested in being competitive, but just messing around and having fun.

Seems like there's a few different options. Doubt I could get an old PS2 game for cheap anywhere anymore though. Might try out this Fighter Z sometime. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
