The only reason she survived so long was a conveniently timed defensive war and an opposition that spent more time fighting itself than her. One of the very worst PMs in terms of impact though the fact that Truss may have managed to top her in just 45 days is truly impressive. Yeah, this is odd. The more I think about it, I don't understand how signing Hale sells more copies of Bayo 3. I mean, what gamer is sitting there thinking, "Bayo 1 & 2 weren't my jam... Oh wait, Jennifer Hale is VAing the main character now? Day 1 buy!"

With MGS5, signing Kiefer Sutherland created some buzz because he was a big-name TV actor in the 2000s. Not saying Hayter should've been replaced (even with MGS5's plot twist being considered), but the Sutherland hiring likely got the attention of some people who initially didn't plan on buying MGS5.

I also do think Pratt's in a bit of an unfair position. He did have a very slight New York accent in the tiny bit we heard, and if he just went full on hammy Italian accent, in today's world people would jump all over him and go "Why didn't you just hire an Italian guy?" Why is a fair criticism of the casting, and his casting overall was a poor choice to begin with, but I'm not really sure what all the guy can actually do in this situation.

There's a new cable every 3-5 years that can support higher bandwidth, power supply, features, etc. And that's totally ignoring Apple's cables, which do tend to be ahead of that curve and definitely influenced USB. Even if this wasn't such an immediately obvious place of high-frequency innovation, it would still be nonsensical to freeze it at the 2022 status quo.
