Having female friends doesn't do anything. women and men have different hobbies, life experiences, and intentionally being friends with a girl you're into is a bad idea. Leads to infatuation and putting her up on a pedastool.

If you're attracted to a woman, you make it known. A guy who wants to be with a woman doesn't want her to be his friend. He wants her to be his side piece, or potential GF.
