So from I'm getting, there's a Chinese version and a Taiwanese version of Street Fighter: Duel.

While the Taiwanese version is an auto-battler idle game, which is the one we got in English.

I actually don't have much experience with idle games, but I think it's fine as a side-game. I do like how there's no stamina from what I can tell, you don't have to feel compelled to keep running stages, you just have to check back to collect stuff.

Dear Esther (Steam Deck)

This is the original game on Steam, not Landmark Edition.

I wanted a short game to get some real use out of Steam Deck, so I guess I went with this one. What a strange game. If you need a prime example of what a walking sim is, this is it. All you do is walk through an island and listen to guy's narration. I guess my sense of direction isn't that great, since as I was playing I was hoping to hear the narration or some music because that's when you know you're heading in the right direction.

It also has a weird way of ending. It literally just fades into a black screen with ocean sounds. That's it, no credits play. You have to exit the game through the menu from that point.

I guess when you're playing walking sims, you need to be in the right mindset. You have to be patient with yourself and the game.

Some history about the Idoly Pride mobile game and how it's supposed English version.

So some time ago, it was suppose to be published by this company Boltrend, who have an awful reputation of getting the license of mobile games for supposedly really cheap because they're like on the verge of dying in Japan, making some money off of them, and then shutting the game down in like a year or so (Disgaea RPG being the one exception to this).
A recent example of this would be Fantasy Life Online, which around the time they announced they would bring it over in English, it was already shutting down in Japan. They actually did shutdown the English version like a few weeks ago.

In any case regarding Idoly Pride, they pretty much went on silent on the game sometime after announcing it. Well it turned out last month that they lost the license to it.

However, it now appears that Neowiz (known for publishing DJ Max) has picked up the license.

The tweet is Korean, but the translation is saying that they have the rights to global distribution, so people are speculating that they'll be the ones to bring it over in English.

So that's some trivia about Idoly Pride, which is pretty much the only knowledge I have about it.
