Rowling has been a hot topic of discussion long before the game was even announced. You've been here long enough to know that, so idk why you're trying to paint a different picture of reality than what everyone else is living in

I think this is wishful thinking, mostly.

I was on black team and we were pretty hard in with the Scarlet alliance although others backed off when we got targetted for it. I was like "I'm voting best for our team? >_>"

I got lucky in the early parts lol. Once I realized other people WERE playing, I was like "fuck me I gotta step up" so I did and eventually I went hard. I won the 2nd most individual competitions of the final 16 phase (Cody, 3rd place, won more than me) and I really played hard to win for my alliance and it worked out for me in the end.

Your team and my team were in an early alliance and I did want to see that through but your group got some early heat that hurt us so we had to back off and really we did not do a great job of that lol. I personally was lucky.

hey you outlasted plenty of others and your team had a target on their back that was not your fault (and it affected my team too lol although I managed to beat it, but only at the expense of the rest of my team). You outlasted many others. In a future version of the game, I would bet on you to go much further... but I don't think there will be any future versions lol. I've stayed in touch with the main people and no one seems to want to restart it lol

yeah I think he was mostly poking me in the ribs. We had a lot of exchanges during the jury process and really seemed to feel like I hadn't done enough to win, but I knew his weakness and exploited it (not owning up to his moves enough), but yeah, was it only 9 years ago? Feels like a little bit longer lol. I remember the first conversation I ever had with Apple privately and I could tell he was in control and just trying to get a feel for whether or not I would be trustworthy as a back-pocket ally moving forward. I had limitted options and our immediate aims at the time aligned even if we had separate specific plans. After that conversation, I remember thinking "I just found my final 2 partner. I'm gonna win this. I just need to make sure I don't fuck it up in the process." I almost did more than once in fact >_> but ultimately I got there.

And yeah, I actually name-changed from ImTheMacheteGuy to just Machete several years ago. I've been using this account as my main lately, but I will likely switch back to Machete eventually.

I returned for the 4th "season" of it which was a smaller and more complex version, with 45 players on the outset as opposed to 100+. Got taken out in 9th but that was my own fault. I had complacent blinders on lol.

It's still fun to this day seeing how many people from the original are still around or who come back after a while. Waffle was a mod and had a name change. Itachi had a name change and is currently a mod. zeroflamecutter has switched accounts more than once. ROBANN is in this very topic. Choco still posts. ToasterStrudeI is back after having been gone for a while. Dream is still active on the site but he name changed and doesn't post here anymore, but he and I stay in touch periodically.

We're both very socially awkward, but that's one of the things that we bond over. He completely accepts everything about me, including me being trans; there's little to no judgement in our relationship. If any judging happens, it's mostly on my end, >.< . It's never anything serious, though.
