IIRC (Don't hold me to this I could be wrong) he was actually designed by a fan.

During the lanch of MKII they they did some kind of contest where you were supposed to create a character and submit it to Midway to be used in MK3

The winners were Stryker, Kabal and Nightwolf

Which makes sense. In a game series where every 2nd character is a ninja, those were 3 of the most diverse characters

R3make was a good game. R3make is a terrible remake. R3make is viewed as bad as it is because of how good R2make was received on release.

For what it's worth, the dog owners claim their dogs weren't barking.

But TBH all dog owners claim that, whether their dogs bark are not so who knows.

It would be a shame since there's a lot of gaming history on this site and some of the old guides are great time capsules

RE3make is missing serious chunks of RE3. I think they wanted to get it out while RE2make was still hot. Which was a misstep

Lulu is slow and has good magic stats
Yuna has good magic
Tidus and Rikku have good agility
Wakka has good accuracy

So yeah, Spiders and Crows. TBH I'm not crying over that loss. Would have been cool to see the Spiders but I don't think the lack of Spider enemies counts as "Massive missing content"

This sounds like it was written by memory. You got a full experience from Claire/Leon A and Claire/Leon B with some slight differences. Even if your argument was "You have to play all 4 to get the bigger picture." You are still conceding to it being dumbed down. The major difference is that the original A and B scenario's flowed much better.

The big difference between the scenarios in the OG Game was Mr X. Aside from Mr X the gameplay was 90% identical, you just got some different cutscenes sometimes.

I think taking the whole plot and working into 2 scenarios makes sense. Especially since on Playthrough 3 and 4 and 5 you're likely skipping cutscenes anyway.

and Mr X appearing in the 1st scenario is absolutely an improvement. Ada and Sherry's sections have been vastly improved too.

The entire original point of this feature is to show what Claire or Leon were doing at the same time. This is why they don't fight the same bosses. This is why they don't see the same thing at the same time. Re2 Remake does this in the station. The second scenario character is behind the fence but after that? It's mostly the same.

I don't agree with this at all. The scenarios are pretty much the same. Only main difference is the lack of Mr X in the OG. And the Lighter/Small key nonsense.

How does both leon and claire fight crowbar birkin in the same place for example? There's far better flow in the original. Let's not pretend there isn't. The classic game is superior in this regard.

Yeah I agree, they could have done better intertwining the stories. That was a missed oppotunity to improve on the OG. Claire and Leon barely interact.

Would have been neat if they had some different boss fights. I don't agree for a second that the clunky as fuck OG RE2 had better "flow" though.

Play the original again. I still speed run it. The scenario's were clearly rushed.

The only enemy missing in RE2make is the Spiders and it's not rushed at all. Enormous amount of effort went into that game and it has incredible game/level design and polish.

Nothing was really dropped with the A and B scenarios. They just put the plot into 2 scenarios instead of 4 so casual players didn't have to play the game 4 times to get the full plot. Which makes sense. Especially since Mr X was now a focal point of the game.

About the only things they cut were Spiders and taking ammo/weapons means the other character can't find it.

RE2make was jam packed game. It looked amazing, lighting was great, map was great, every single room was highly detailed, full of easter eggs and neat touches.

They even included the God damn "Wellcome Leon" as a joke

How in the wild world of sports was any of it rushed?

And Homer nearly cheats on marge with Mindy, who unlike Marge he wasn't pushed onto her because Marge was being boarderline abusive. She was just there and hot so Homer nearly fucked her.

I mean they're cartoon characters but you seem to trying hard to act like Marge is some kind of Harlot when repeatedly in the Simpsons they argue but always stay together.

Also for some ungodly reason they changed it so Nemsis didn't kill Brad. A random zombie did. Which means Nemesis, the monster designed with the sole purposes of wiping out STARS members, fails to kill a single STARS member.

Game is goergeous, fun as fuck, controls great.
The VAs did a fantastic job.

I think it gets a lot of flack because it followed RE2make and was no where near as good as RE2make.

But man if RE3make had come out first, people would praising how amazing it was. It's not a bad game at all. It's just not as good as RE2make.

RE2make included almost everything from the original, RE3make was missing a ton of content and that stung.

But the content we got was sweet. It's good solid game. One of the best horror games of the past 10 years. Wipes the floor with shit like Calisto Protocol or Outlast 2 or Siren Blood Curse or The Evil Within 2 or Layers of Fear 2 or Blair Witch or a Plague tale or Man of Maiden or Amnesia 3 or Maiden of Blackwater or Inside

And the big one that's gonna really piss off CE.

I thought it was way better than Last of Us 2.

It's no Alien Isolation or RE2make but it's a solid fun video game that I platinumed gladly (Except that "Kill X amount of specific enemy" Challenges which were nothing but a dull grind)
