Yeah we should start dressing like Jojo characters.

I'm in the crowd that goes simple because day to day I'm not out to impress anyone. My sneakers stick out like a sore thumb but that's only because I like them regardless of what they're supposed to go with.

But when guys try to dress with the intent of suggesting they have an elevated fashion sense, that's just funny. Wasted all that time trying and it's something unoriginal.

Hey Arnold was one of the better programs that tried to set a proper example of a society as well as making Arnold an example of how to be above most situations. That didn't make him perfect, and it made light that even if you try to do right, things don't always go how you hope - Lila, the Bunny Suit, Eugene, etc. And that goes back into making sense of society and just coexisting with different people and what they are.

Rugrats had less depth, but very entertaining for the simpler viewer.

Jerry IRL was 35 when the show first started.

Him and George on the show were supposed to be classmates.

The situation they're in makes for an interesting point in life even if the show was meant to be a comedy there's a whole "show about nothing", but it also made light of the fact you don't ever have to change, nor are subjected to having to graduate into typical customs, such as settling down, having a family, buying a home. This was further emphasized by how George's marriage went to shit (even though he wanted it to not happen). They traverse through their 30's as life and time passes them by, but at the same time they are legitimately living. There's a strong maybe between Jerry and Elaine getting back together, but they never force it to be.

A good share of us carry some semblance to their situations and attitudes towards everyday matters in life.

From a user/wearer standpoint, no.

Lightweight been getting into watches this year. Of the solar variants was a G-Shock GST-B100, and GA-B2100, and then I got a Citizen SST Eco-Drive.

Honestly, the GA-B2100 has been everything I need in a watch without needing a smart watch. If the GBD-200 came with solar, that's probably going to be ever closer to narrowing the gap. Unfortunately, this pulls me out of the indulgences of mechanical watches, analog watches in general, and just the sense of variety and romanticism. I think the reality is that I'm just not all that interested in becoming a collector, and want a watch to benefit me in everyday life. It's been very fascinating to see Casio not fold to the smartwatch trend and incrementally taking the long way around to creating alternative solutions.

And to take things up a notch your circle called him Slammy to make him sound cool
And the girls didn't catch on, but it was still cool as far as you guys were concered
Just like bleached spiky hear and cargo khakis.
And then you went to high school, made decisions in life
And fast forward 2 decades later you take the elevator up a building while holding a pizza
And when the door opens you see a familiar face in the distance
It's Slammy with white collar office job
And then you head up to him and are like "yooooooo Slam-my!"
And he's like "who are you???"
And you're like "c'mon bro it's me. It's Viper! Slammyyyy!"
And he's like "Ssssshhhhhhhh!!"
And it totally flies over your head
And you're like "give me some skin! pound it!"
And in a nearby office is Slammy's boss, bold and wears glasses
And he's not happy with it
"Sam, what's going on here?"
"This delinquent is bothering me"
"Whoa-hoa Slammy don't be like that."

Unfortunately, you and Slammy grew apart and he no longer is the rad friend you knew. He has a wife, kids, gelled and parted hair, and speaks with a very sophisticated and articulate vernacular. You miss the days when it was pizza and videogame and gamefaqs.com and Snick TV shows.

Around TG weekend I did a playthrough of Spider-Man Miles Morales. Platinum was an NG+ playthrough away. Didn't totally care about the challenge so I just tried to burn through on Amazing. I feel like that was a cheap way to "lengthen" the game.

Was able to do a few early missions more creatively, but that was it. Also did most of it with the Bodega Cat costume. Only switched to the Purple Reign costume to fight Prowler.

Really the structure of the game is perfect for a one-and-done playthrough. After 100%, I'm not all that interested in doing any more street crime events. Can't even go into Miles' apartment anymore.

Plotline didn't grow on me (I wouldn't say it was terrible, though), just that last flashback after the postcards hits a bit. I think the character design for "The Underground" was a little lame. For the original playthrough, I give the game 8/10.

KaZooo

Take care of my parents and siblings. Time and money-wise that does spread me thin. They aren't burdens. It's just the situation, and arguably one that's better than whatever could've been if my parents didn't put in the work and compromises that they did, even if it was short of perfect execution.

Motivation-wise, there is the sad fact that yeah, I do hear friends and coworkers complain about their partners. Sure, it's just petty stuff, but at the same time I don't need that in my life to sleep and wake up to (bad) opinions I wasn't asking for, mind over someone I might not actually care about.

For sure in the real world, the point for everyone is to make compromises in the interest in successful coexistence with others, and build something with it, so I'm not out to judge other people's relationships although sometimes I do question the people who vent to me. There's a point where I'm going to have to think "you picked that person basically to end up wasting my time listening to your combined bullshit. "

That being said, I won't look away from the idea I'm my own problem: I don't want to settle or compromise, going through such motions. Perfection is a cruel impossibility, but if I decided on anyone of my past and present, it'd be very painstakingly clear that I never put in a real effort for my future. It'd be the biggest lie in life.

Well thats unfortunate, was thinking about getting it but read some reviews like it was pretty difficult, simulation like
I remember the TT Isle of Man game on PS2, that was very hard for me to get a feel for.

However Tourist Trophy and RS were a fun play for me, although I could tell they were also a little too forgiving in some ways. Moto GP series (up to 3) had a basic traction model.

I think I've only played the original Ride demo, and it was alright. This demo/replay of 4 seems unreal with how much the player seemingly downshifts prematurely with no consequences in the wet. Braking and corner exits, and impacts seem a little too smooth as well, but that might be some kind of setting thing.
