I don't see how you can conclude there wouldn't be if you'd seen the trailers. The Eidolon battles are pretty clearly scripted events with the interactivity consisting of minimal input, in all likelihood in some form of QTE.

I think Yoshi P has said they are fully playable and that each eikon battle will unique and different from one another. Although I do imagine some sort of QTE will be part of that.

Shitty plot with terrible writing but a lot of the hate comes from the fact that it's an obvious allegory of the conquistadors ravaging the land and enslaving indigenous Americans, which would be fine if the protagonist wasn't one of the conquistadors sent in to kill the natives (which he successfully does, even killing his own "girlfriend's" parents) then changes his mind and leads the revolt against the invaders because the natives couldn't possibly fight off the invaders without the leadership of some white guy >_>

Thanks for the level headed response. I said jumping ship as a joke, and I really didnt give that much though to the situation. Just posted it to see CEs reaction. As for the trip, its always a joint venture where she books some stuff and I others.

They couldve done half those shows, save money and still obtain better results critically and economically

Btw I went easy on her and only got 2 items. One berserk guts figure and some art for my office. There really wasn't anything I wanted or needed specifically .
