Did it actually make any difference? I have not the slightly clue. I could see that it could have and I could see how it couldn't have. Players are generally pretty mentally fragile when it comes to shooting and will grasp at any excuse they can get. So perhaps look for them to say that it did make a difference. Either way expect teams to reconsider giving good seats to opposing teams players now for the rest of these playoffs. This is the narrative driven shit that has little to do with the actual game going on that ESPN just eats up though. Something like "you had to be there" at the time. My life at that point, when the episode aired or I first saw it I can't remember, was video games (Super Nintendo dominated). So I always thought of the title "Superintendent" as Super Nintendo. To hear it referenced on the show was hilarious.
