Sienna checks the status of her request submission: "REJECTED"
"Well shit," she cusses. "What are they planning?"
"You told them to meet you at this park, and they wanted you dead, so there are two possibilities," Rori responds.
"Yeah, they're either coming here to kill you, or they're thinking the rest of you will still be coming there. I'm just not sure which."
"I mean, they wanted you dead," Glenda adds.
"What she said," you and Rori say in near-unison.
"You all think they're coming here, for my head?" Sienna asks.
"Duh." Rori smirks. "And we're gonna make mincemeat out of them."
"Right. Sienna, you defend against whatever they charge at you. Rori, you, me, and Glen will hide in the bushes," you begin. "Me and Glen will go push two of them into the hole while you transform into a DARGON. You will devour one of them, leaving them with three almost immediately."
"Does it matter which one I go for?" Rori asks.
"No, not really. We'll deal with the other three after the first three are gone." You shrug.
"I'd prefer to get rid of that Artificer quickly," Glenda adds. "Either that or the Warlock."

You set up your trap. It takes an hour or so, but one - only one - shows up, a male Rogue. You notice him pausing for a brief moment, thinking he's using Message to talk with either the Bard or Artificer. As Sienna is on the other side of the hole, you rush out and push him in, with the only audible being an expletive. You run back into the bushes to hide, hoping nobody else saw you.
A minute later, the five other goons, two of whom are female, starting coming in together.
"YOU!" Sienna calls from across the hole. "YOU wanted me dead?"
The female Bard yells back. "You made me re-roll! Of course I do!"
"Well, you're gonna have to re-roll again after today!"
"Pfft, you and what army?" the Bard replies as she nears the whole. "It's just you and ONE guy!"
"Oh, it's more than just me," you shout, before charging out and pushing the Barbarian in. Glenda does the same to the Warlock next to him. Some flames emit from down below.
Rori, in her DARGON form, comes in and devours the Artificer, then spits him out and barbecues him mid-air.
"HOLY SHIT!" the female Rogue shouts. "DARGON!!!!!!!!!"
Sienna draws her sword, running over and impaling the Bard. More flames emerge from the hole. Smells like a grill down there!
The female Rogue turns tail and runs, only for DARGON Rori to light her on fire from a distance.

A. Go in for the kill
B. Interrogate her
C. Let her run

I haven't.

500 hours would probably be Tales of the Abyss. I think I played that much (8 times through). Persona 4 (across all systems), Saints Row 2, and Stardew Valley all probably have than many hours in as well, but I don't think I have anything over 700.

"In other words, our enemies become their dinner." Rori adjusts her hat. "I'd be happy to feed my ex-teammates to them, too."
"We can do that tomorrow," Sienna adds. "When they'll be hungry again. Right now, I have to reply to their request. Let's see what happens..." Sienna whips out her phone and sees the request still live in the app. "Whew," she exclaims. "And... offer made, location specified, and a little bit of trash talked."
You go to the DARGON park, and upon arriving, Sienna checks her phone again. "No response." She shrugs. "I don't know if that's a good or bad thing."
One of the DARGONs suddenly flies by. "Rori!" you call and point.
"Boom," Rori replies. "I think I got a good enough look at it."
"You need enough of a view?" Glenda asks.
"Yeah, think of me like a Ditto, just without the STDs," Rori jokes.
"A Pokemon reference," you reply. "You are officially awesome."
"Wasn't I already?" Rori winks at you. Everyone laughs.
"Anyway, we got a trap to set," you say. "Here's hoping it works."

Which trap will you set?
A. Have Sienna meet the bad guys by the hole; you and Glenda push two in, and Rori devours and incinerates the rest as the three of you fight them
B. A one-by-one series of booby traps leading down the pathway to the hole

"Hey Rori," you ask. "Can you transform into a DARGON?"
"No," Rori replies, looking up so you can see her eyes even more clearly. "Never seen one in my life. Are they actually real?"
"Yes," Glenda says. "We just fed one."
"Then it started fucking the other one," Sienna adds.
"You can't be serious," Rori replies.
"It's no joke." You shake your head. "And if you were to see one of them..."
"...I could turn into one and eat enemies alive. Sure."
"So I should tell these bad guys where I'm gonna be?" Sienna asks.
"Yes. And they can walk into our trap."
"We can set it up by the DARGON hole, right?" Glenda asks.
"Yeah," you say. "Not sure if that's safe for us, though. Is it?"
"Worst thing the enemy can do is push us into the hole."
"We'll just have to push them first," Rori adds. "Sorry, trying to follow."
"You're doing well." Glenda nods.
"We'd have three DARGONs..." Sienna crosses her arms, clearly pontificating. "Question is, will the two real DARGONs side with us because we fed one of 'em?"

A. "Probably, yeah."
B. "I'd rather not chance it."

If it's a military move, pretty sure US law applies. Meaning this is illegal discrimination, unless it's a "I'm sorry, but the base in Japan does not have the adequate means to provide for your son." That kind of excuse needs to be true to be valid, of course, but...

If that were the case, they should give you the choice, so I don't think they followed protocol. Sucks you don't get to move to Japan, though, but hopefully they find somewhere. Keep fighting! Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Friday Night Lights and Price Is Right are obviously shows we have no chance against, so I went with a drug-infused older cast. Pretty simple.

For the latter, I operated under the presumption that the West Wing has secret service agents.

As someone who occasionally edits the TPIR Wiki (I know in my heart you think I'm white & nerdy), I can confirm that this is true: Rob Wilson, James O'Halloran, and.... former NFL receiver Devin Goda, the one who singlehandedly would clean most of our clocks. You also have to take the announcers into account, so there are more guys than you realize. That said, of them, only Rich Fields is a threat, though Rod Roddy's sequined jackets are... something. All that and me refusing to hit Alexis Gaube after how many times she's made my day are why I wouldn't beat that cast in a fist fight.

It really sounds to me like most of you don't know anything about the show, so I thought I would say.

This TC was gloriously chaotic because of everything wrong with modern Survivor. I enjoyed it because it almost felt like a parody.

Worth noting that I no longer take Survivor seriously. I stopped listening to podcasts, stopped talking about strategy at length (really just shorter posts), and am just a semi-casual. I'm content with that.

This tribe is a mess.

Reem and Wendy were acting more like a power couple than Wentworth and Lolly. Who was trying to tell people what to do? The former.

Maddy was wrong to target Brandon - he rightfully distrusted her and she rightfully distrusted him, but she stuck her neck out by trying to vote out the guy with the idol. She could've used him as a meat shield later if she tried to recover that relationship.

This tribe is a total shitshow, though. So much paranoia running around and the only one who doesn't look like an idiot in this episode is Kane. That's... an accomplishment. This is like Ua on steroids.

Lauren played that fucking perfectly. By saying she lost her vote, she can not vote at the next tribal council and get her banked vote out of the way early, and hang onto that sucker.

Yeah, she HAS to play it like this, else they'll think she's a liar. She didn't look AS much like a liar as Matt did.

Yeah, what would it be other than some kind of advantage? Brandon is a very bad player. He burned bridges with Maddy and she won't hesitate to bus him.

Lauren seems to be on the bottom of that tribe given how they immediately started treasure hunting when she left.

Can't say Jeff didn't warn us. He said there were more medical incidents in this premiere alone than in some entire seasons.

Kanegai made it a lot deeper before being MedEvac'd though.

This Bruce should be brought back at some point, though, because... yeah. Imagine him, Pat, and Kourtney Moon (is she doing okay?) as tribe captains. (Or Jackson, maybe, but he lied to production about his medications until the replacements were sent home, and I don't think Jeff and Co. liked that)

I already like this cast so so so much more than last season. This feels more like what we had in 41 and 42.

Last season's cast is lesser than the sum of its parts; they didn't develop interesting chemistry or "pop" as a group, even though there were a handful of individuals who were fantastic.

Well that was an interesting way to start the season.

Yeah, he doesn't die, at least not until he and Aigis duel. The 3-on-2 nature of this (Tingle would be a non-factor even if he didn't die immediately), and Crono thinking he's immortal and running into battle thinking he can't die isn't gonna go well. That makes it functionally Aigis, an android, versus three very powerful characters. Yeah, no, not happening. She takes Cloud down but he tires her out enough that Vivi and Liquid get the better of him.

If there wasn't any funny business, I think this would be a close match. JC's good at arguing his case though!

Tonight, it begins. Two hours too!

(Also, sounds like I will avoid watching Tough As Nails season 2, because I don't want to suffer through another Zestiria-like torture)

"Glen, how about you respond to that?" you ask
"ME?" she goes. "Why me?"
"They don't know what class you are, they think you might be a cleric. If you're the one they know the least about, given how they ignored Rori's party request."
"That's true," Rori says. "They saw my post before posting theirs."
"Their party's probably male-dominated," Sienna adds. "They didn't want to take time trying to court someone who would've said no. And I can't reply..."
"I mean, you can," Rori responds. "In fact, I think you should. You can tell them where you'll be, so instead of us walking into their trap, they can walk into ours."
"Holy shit, that's brilliant!" Sienna replies. "Remind me not to mess with you."
"That's a fair point..." you muse. Any thoughts Rori might be a mole just went out the window. "Rori, what's the most dangerous thing you can transform into?"
"A bear, probably," your druid replies. "Unless we can quickly get me something more powerful."
This gives you an idea.

A. Go with Rori's plan and take her to the DARGON hole
B. Continue asking Glenda

(FYI, this was not my original plan; sometimes this just writes itself, and thought I'd ask where it goes from here!)
