Why is google telling me the japanese text says "itchy horse"?

The wording for this phrase was intentionally corrupted, along with other parts of the file, to demonstrate the progression of the disease. As such, it is spelt as kayui uma (?) as opposed to kayui umai (?); leaving out the "" renders translations as "itchy horse".

It's almost like these guys are actually evil or something.
