One time over at another forum I was a member of someone else did the same thing making a topic along the lines of "What is your favourite Souls series" or "What is your favourite Souls Character" and atleast half a dozen of us or so came on talking about Soul Calibur.

I knew what she was talking about but I talked about Soul Calibur anyway just to point out to them that there were other games with "Soul" in the title. The TC quickly closed the topic.

See! I have never understood why the fuck it is so hard for people on gaming forums to say "Dark Souls series" or something to stop this confusion. It is like they think that the Dark Souls franchise is the only franchise/game with the word Soul(s) in the title.

Probably because there's only one "Souls" series that the overwhelming vast majority recognize when it's abbreviated like that.

Plus they kind of, y'know... need to be "Souls" and not "Soul". The other "Souls" games on your list are singular.
Which is funny 'cause you remove the last "s" to make a point but it just doesn't work. Even moreso since you acknowledge it's plural in your first sentence.
