Sw / Sh was the first main series games to get DLC instead a enhanced definitive edition, so it's highly likely Game Freak cut post game content from Sw / Sh and made the content it did have paltry to get players to pay extra to get the Expansion Pass DLC. Dynamax / Gigantamax in retrospect is one of the best mechanics the series has had however, definitely better than Z Moves and even Mega Evolution, even if it is rather overpowered.Comments like these really kinda cement a bigger problem with gamers, always going for the cut content reasons --- "He may be Mr. Clean, but his soul will always be dirty!" |
