Boys and girls are different in more ways than just physical. They differ in the methods in which you effectively communicate with them (girls are more cooperative with authoritative figures, boys don't give a shit), they differ in what motivates them and what gives their lives meaning, even how they best learn.

Is this about the kids right? Never understood how kids could even fathom being a certain sexuality or gender at that age tbh.

How do you explain to an 11 year old that this course of treatment (which the doctor is recommending) could render them permanently unable to have children? Of course the 11 year old will just agree with whatever the doctor says.

How can a child possibly give informed consent for something like this? What if they do end up regretting it? Thats why European countries are already banning puberty blockers for children.

We dont know the long term effects. Possibly permanent sterility, loss of the ability to achieve orgasm, problems with bone growth. Puberty doesnt just affect the genitals, it affects the brain and whole body. And this is all completely new, so we cant know the long term effects.

Again, the record number of children on puberty blockers and hormones speaks for itself.

These laws are awful, but they are also a reaction to an overreach by the trans movement in schools. When a record number of children are now on puberty blocking drugs, the permanent effects of which are unknown, parents are rightfully concerned.
