Like it's 100% terrible, but I agree with the take that 90% of the people there were planning on looting at worst. Could it have gotten worse due to mob mentality? Sure, but the videos we have show lots of people who got inside and.... kind of just didn't know what to do next.

What were the other 10% planning to do?

There was zero attempt to overthrow the government. It's kind of a ridiculous notion. 90% of the people there were LARPing. I know multiple people who were there. I know their minds simply can't comprehend it was even wrong they were there or that they were doing anything wrong. They didn't think they were there to overthrow the government. What ended up happening was a unruly mob committed vandalism and they committed the crimes for political reasons. Hence terrorism. Was there nutjobs there and people who were inciting and trying to take advantage of the situation? Sure. It wasn't an attempt to overthrow the government though.

Corrik, you say 1/6 was not a coup, which is technically correct since it wasnt successful, but what makes it not an ATTEMPTED coup? You admit it was a terrorist attack, but what were the aims of the terrorists if not using violence to alter who will be President?

Well, I think that the issue is less about doctors aborting a 9 month old fetus and more someone taking it upon themselves. Most abortion restrictions have provisions for those deemed medically necessary already, so it makes absolute sense to codify that into law, and making it a law takes ambiguity and "personal beliefs" out of the equation. You still see the occasional sicko out there saying abortion should be legal right up until the moment the baby comes out, which is just as monstrous as saying abortion should be completely banned.

The new laws dont always have those provisions!

I dont think anyone should want POLITICIANS deciding those time limits, is what I think hes saying. You should want doctors deciding if the procedure is ethical on a case by case basis. The only time people seek late term abortions are when something has gone horribly wrong, and lawmakers in many states are trying to say zero exceptions to no abortions allowed past a certain time limit.

It does say that the student would not be returning to the school, and the Uvalde shooter was actually still in high school in the district, so if that info is all accurate its probably not him IMO
