im about to finish my ground type gym leader theme run of Platinum that i started on a whim.

its got me hungry for playing more pokemon. but i want to do something a bit harder. i would like to try a nuzlocke for the first time.

i dont know what game to play though. i can play anything except switch games. im a lil wary of the 3ds games but if someone wants to recommend one ill hear them out.

this is my team, i just beat maylene [fighting gym].

its my first time using golem in game, not sure why because ive always thought it was cool. guess i just always had a different pokemon in mind for that physical tank role. anyways shes overperforming like a demon, always manages to at least go one for one in the major battles even if the enemy team counters her.

im a little weary about using garchomp because its so strong >___< any thoughts on that?

I will use Lopunny, Gastrodon, Raichu, Glaceon, Gardevoir and Houndoom.

[PS: gonna start the game off with Chimchar to save time because he is turbo broken early game but will be swapping him out when the time comes]

You could download a mod to block while dual wielding as well, but restoration can be useful for sure if you don't want to spam potions/food.

i dont want to do that, would just feel like cheating to me. thanks for the advice though

Console commands can edit your magicka etc as well, if you want to fix it.

and one more question, for a duel wield fighter (not assassin) build, would i want some skill in restoration to make me tankier because i cant block?

That, I don't know of any way to get back the points on health and whatnot but you'll be fine without changing it.

i put most of my skill points into magicka though, because orcs have a low mana pool

If you are on PC then just use console commands to remove a perk and give yourself whatever you wanted instead. The wiki's will have the exact one and codes you need.

wanted to do an orc war mage thing that wore heavy armour and used an axe in one hand and destruction magic in the other, but now that ive unlocked the perk that lets me cast while wearing heavy armour im starting to realize i dont actually like casting in this game and want to just duel wield

if i wanted to play a competitive and serious fighting game i would pick one that is actually designed and balanced around that type of gameplay like guilty gear or something. competitive melee only functions off of bug abuse, so i will never take it seriously. for me smash is for fun casual play with friends.

yeah brawl has problems, but everyone ive ever played with never picked meta knight because he was banned so that wasnt an issue. the floatiness was never something i hated too much, although the game wouldve been improved without it. tripping is pretty inexcusable though.

not sure if id say brawl is number 1, but subspace kind of makes me want to
