yeah, theres an honour code to it. normal people dont kill afks in the safe zone because:

1) you get nothing for it so its a waste of time

2) you dont want to be known as that asshole who kills afks in the safe zone

but this guy just doesnt care about that i guess

theres this fucking guy who LARPs as a monk and just attacks AFK people in the safe zone. the way the safe zone works is you can fight people in it, that way you can 1v1 there and stuff without losing your bounty. but the thing is, when you die, even if it was in the safe zone, you get battle injuries which halves ur stats for 500 seconds, so its really annoying to get killed in the safe zone. never seen anyone else but this guy do this. plus he flirts with everyone who plays a female character and is really creepy about it

i dont think u know what mentally stable means.
just because ur motivation is bizarre doesnt mean ur unstable. stability refers to what u do. everything deidara does makes sense when u keep his understanding of the world in mind.
if deidara was unstable, he wouldve for example, randomly lashed out on itachi in a meeting and got his ass beat, or something like that

The worst part of that fight to me was how obvious it was that Kishimoto created the whole Chakra types strengths and weaknesses Pokemon bullshit just for it.

Like its used for Naruto too but didnt really have to be (Is there any reason the Rasengan needed wind to fly? Doesnt Borutos fly no problem? Was there any reason for a stronger Rasengan in the first place? Oodama Rasengan seemed pretty strong). Then its used for Sasuke and dropped immediately after. And it doesnt even make any sense that Lightning > Earth.

its a pvp game that revolves around killing other players. there isnt really much end game content or anything, the end game content is making beefs with other players and chasing them down. its honestly a really interesting community, there are a lot of really funny and really skilled max level players who are infamous. like this guy called "black rain", probably the most infamous player in the game, who gave me the advice to never ask questions because it makes you look like a noob. i told him im ok with looking like a noob, because i am one. and he told me that might be true, but one day i wont be a noob, but if you get known as someone who asks a lot of questions, youll always be considered a noob even if you are secretly good, and if youre considered a noob, you cant get into good clans and stuff. it felt very RPish in a cool way. like if you were just a genin and madara came up to you and started giving you advice

it only has maybe 100 players [more accounts than that though, because people have alts] which is honestly kind of a good thing because it makes the community tightly knit. i remember one time me and my friend were around level 20 and got ganked by a max level (60) player and we managed to 2v1 him, and random people were dming us congratulating us on our victory, it felt great.

i kinda have a very masochistic setup. im playing with a shitty gamecube usb controller, i chose to be from the Hidden Mist Village which has very low playerbase because its the newest one, i defected from the Mist and went rogue, i have high ping, and i play sword master. sword master isnt a BAD class, its the best in the game at max level 1v1, and 1v1s are a big part of the game. but it really sucks at farming, so leveling is pretty brutal. i only really do quests and dailies because all my damage is single target. i cant really grind mobs like other classes can. but come late game, im going to be a monster with quadruple digit HP running down motherfuckers, and its gonna be glorious

god i love this game lol. been rewatching naruto while i play, so nostalgic

its move pool is very shallow, but it throws off extremely quick and powerful thunderbolts, and sometimes thats all you need
and i picked Gyarados because it synergizes really well with Jolteon. they perform well vs each others counters imo

1) everyone always talks about how broken psychic type was, and yeah its pretty fucking strong, but NORMAL is on a whole new level. every single fucking team has tauros + chansey + snorlax. theyre basically the price of admission. if you dont use them, youre going to get fisted by someone who is. i saw someone make a joke about if gen 1 is played perfectly, the winner of the battle is decided by who wins the tauros speed tie and they really werent lying. that thing is horrendously powerful, its fast, and it can take hits like a champ too.

2) compared to other metas ive dabbled in, this one actually feels less luck dependent. which probably sounds stupid if you know how much RNG gen 1 has. but the thing is because the meta is dominated by normal and psychic types, theres very little prediction going on. in modern competitive pokmon the whole game revolves around guessing what your opponent will switch to and trying to punish it, and thats part skill yeah, to understand why and when someone would swap pokmon. but a lot of it is luck. gen 1 is all about positioning the battle for your tauros to clean up the enemies weakened pokmon and positioning the battle so their tauros cant clean up your weakened pokemon. not making predictions.

3) fuck wrap/bind/clamp/fire spin LOL. not because theyre too strong [although they are decently powerful], but because its so annoying to have to keep clicking your move knowing it wont go off because youre trapped.

4) i keep trying to make pinsir work because its fucking cool and one of the few pokmon that learns swords dance. but it really struggles. it has abysmal coverage. no bug type moves of course, but its entire move pool is normal except for a single fighting move, submission, which is fucking terrible. 80% accuracy and 50% recoil. yuck. plus pinsir dies to special attacks so easily

5) i think slowbro and exeggutor are underrated as hell, i honestly feel like they outperform even alakazam.
