Kirby bosses are balanced around kirby being able to take a lot of hits. Try no damage running them, especially without invincibility spamming abilities, and they're harder than stuff like cuphead. Also any game/challenge with Platinum medals are speedrunner tier too.

Probably just changed his mind, just because something done being written doesn't mean the writer stops thinking about it, that's why there's all those redraws

It's pretty weird for him to constantly change his mind when he already has a practically perfect webcomic as a source. It doesn't speak well to his modern planning skills and is very annoying when any chapter can potentially be made pointless. And I say this when I personally like the redraw in this chapter more. It makes me question what he (or Murata) was thinking when they made the original. Although even the redraw isn't ideal. This entire fight would need a do-over which is already too late for.

Either Murata has a lot of influence due to ONE being too busy with other stuff, both of them thinking they need to make it more action-packed, "epic", and less subtle in order for a more casual anime audience to enjoy, or ONE is just on too much shrooms these days.

His plan probably was to have a closed court session, have Zieks convicted and rule out anyone else, he was doing pretty good at it until people literally just start throwing hidden evidence at you that it said to not exist anymore. He even says he was letting the trial still go on so that this will never have to come up again and that the parties would be satisfied to stop digging into it. He almost got away with it too until the will in the hilt of the sword. Also I think it was said that Gregson knew too much about the autopsy and Stronghart, and Wilson too and he had no way of ensuring their silence since he had no power over Wilson in Japan. There's nothing saying he wouldn't have eventually silenced those people either, he knew he could ruin Jigoku since he was now a huge figure in Japan so he wouldn't make a move, Tusspells he could threaten with having her museum shut down, and Sithe would have been fired, tried for capital punishment, and her legacy disgraced. Caidin also fell in line too.

Having Van Zieks convicted of murdering Gregson would have worked but once that was over there was no way to further convict Zieks of being the Reaper since any connection with Zieks and Reaper would connect right back to Strongheart himself. Like he didn't plan for Jigoku to be convicted and he didn't plan for Kazuma to suddenly have new evidence. He just blindly trusted Kazuma. And then when Kazuma pointed out Van Zieks was the prosecutor of the trial, Strongheart even smugly said "aha so there IS a connection" as if he completely forgot that this would easily lead to Van Zieks pointing out that Strongheart himself was the original prosecutor.

And yeah, my point is that there was no indication that Gregson and Wilson would fall out of line either. Gregson showed himself to be unwilling to betray Strongheart even at risk of death. Wilson was in Japan and shouldn't care about Strongheart becoming attorney general. He could possibly have had a sudden change of heart but the game made no indication of that. As is, the most the game showed was that he had no qualms with forging the evidence.

how so? his only mistake was consenting to a bunch of demands that inevitably led to his downfall

That's part of it. He absolutely did not need to have Kazuma continue the trial to convict Zieks at all. It's entirely counter-productive. The only reason Zieks was connected to the case was because he himself put Zieks on the case so he should've known that any connection to Zieks would've inevitably led to him. For that matter, why even have Kazuma, this complete newcomer with no loyalty to you who could easily change his mind which he did, and the best friend of the defense attorney as your prosecutor instead of one of your many loyal sycophants? Dude literally stacked the court against himself. The defense, prosecution, and the defendant, himself a prosecutor of nobility were all against him at the end. Things probably would've gone much better if any of those were loyal.

Finally the whole assassin exchange thing was itself unneeded and convoluted. It doesn't seem like Gregson or Wilson would ever just randomly snitch on him. Indeed, Gregson showed he was loyal to the very end, and Wilson was on the other side of the world and his actions showed himself to be pretty loyal too. Plus Strongheart showed he's still willing to to keep a bunch of others who knew about him like Jigoku, Tusspells, Brett, Sithe, and Caidin alive so what's the point of this? His paranoia against those two clashes with how he puts the outcome of this extremely important trial into the hands of a newcomer who's not loyal to him in the slightest.

Also, the entire reason Ryunosuke was able to stay in England was because both Strongheart and Jigoku was explicitly said to have bent the rules for him to stay there even though they later said it went against their plans. Guess they just really liked Ryunosuke?

Yeah, but not really in this circumstance where he'd just be killing him out of spite and vengeance, not because of some gambit. I believe you were also saying he'd kill his dad instead.

Killing is such an evil act that we have to punish the killers by killing them. There is absolutely nothing hypocritical about that whatsoever.

I don't think that's very hypocritical. The target changes everything and killing is justified in situations like prevention like self-defense and abortion and euthanasia. This like saying imprisoning someone against their will is hypocritical to punish someone for imprisoning someone against their will.

PlayStation usually doesn't care about this. They publically support Black Lives Matter and make a big deal about women in gaming (which also makes this look bad lol)

I think this is Jim Ryan thinking he could write up an email to cheer people up with this crap. He's an out of touch CEO who thinks people like his anecdotes about animals.

It's not the first time he's made really stupid quotes either. He's the guy who said 'who would play this?' when talking about old games.

If people are noticing a Jim Ryan quote it's usually bad.

To be fair, those vehemently against BLM and women in gaming tend to be the alt right incel type. Tradcon dads and black/female conservatives tend to be ok with those. Abortion is more universal for all Republicans with Tradcon dads and black/female conservatives also against them.
