Both the term "generation" and the numbering system for the generations are official. And a generation refers to a collection of games, not a single game.

Match 1: Since the game is so recent, my mind still associates Psychomeddler with the tedious, boring, unfun mode where it plays and tries to make me like it less. But the other song here doesn't do anything special for me, so Psychomeddler ends up winning anyway. I found out that it's a remix of an older Kirby song, which I didn't pick up on when I actually heard Psychomeddler ingame.

Match 2: Easiest match yet. It's a series recognized as consistently having some of my least favorite music ever, vs the series which I had previously noted as being one of my biggest (positive) finds of the contest. This isn't even my favorite TWEWY song in this year's contest, but there's no chance that I'd vote against it here.

Match 3: This one hard because Unknown Pollution is pretty cool in its own right, and I wish I didn't have to vote against it (especially coming off of that dubious loss last year). But in the end there's a reason why I love Splatoon music so much.

I haven't been making time to listen to songs, and I didn't vote yesterday =( Need to get myself to do it today. Match 3 for me is the hardest matchup that we've had in the contest yet.

I've always struggled with this because there are very few composers whose body of works are easily tracked through multiple different games that I want to play - many of my favorite composers may only have one or two major works and a lot of my favorite game soundtracks are composed by a committee. A lot of my favorite vgm are just random flashes of genius that someone had once

I never really thought about it, but this explains why I've never had a "bad experience" with Kickstarter. Everything that I've backed has been a good product, by a trustworthy source, where I knew exactly what to expect, and have donated money just to help fund the physical creation or release of the product.

Okay, after his announcement, I checked out a game board and I like the way the All Products button is implemented, including its placement on the main bar. Way nicer than it was in the beta last year.

It's just the heart and bell icons on non-game boards that sucks.

Checked my phone account and it's good to know that the buttons are like that on the default layout too, not just the custom ones. Now I can feel less guilty about complaining about it.

It's ruining my site layout.

The Great Sea is an excellent song in the context of the game, but removing all context and memories from the song, it's actually pretty bland to listen to standalone.

I've been exposed to a lot of Darius music throughout these contests and I've generally been a fan of all of them. This song didn't speak to me as much as all the previous ones; I don't think I even supported it in noms. I definitely like it but it's not unthinkable for me to vote against it for another good song. I'll be happy with either one of these songs in round 2.

There should be a playlist of every #1 voted song from each week's topic. It would give like a broad overview of what this topic series has been through.

Definitely a grouping of Pokemon that will never contain things that I'm a fan of. I rarely grow any attachment to unevolved Pokemon. There are a few that have managed to make the connection but nothing from this selection.

I like Game Boy music and would vote it over anything that I'm neutral towards, but Imaginary Shopping District is a very "me in VGMC" song. Seems like this is the type of thing that I latch onto every year out of all the new discoveries in the bracket.

Red is basically the Luster Soldier of Pokemon trainers. He'd stick to established mechanics even if the rules of the fight don't require him to.

Humans are already at the mercy of Pokemon's superior abilities and Red looks like a shrimpy weakling even by Pokemon human standards.
