there's nothing to talk about. dk wins.

no trails protag ever wins their first fight against an opponent. they have to be dramatically saved at least twice before they're able to get them to a point where they recognize the other's potential, and then they just become friends instead of fight anyway

edit: to clarify, my favorite part of FF has always been forming the party and managing their progression. I don't mind action games, but that's not why I play FF/rpg's in general

Peacemaker is 10x better than any of the Marvel Disney + shows and last I checked people generally liked The Batman. They're doing fine.

theoretically all of the characters can get a focused chapter in this one, assuming it ends at either end of disc 1 or northern crater

I feel like the story might be really different but we're still going to get barret/dyne stuff, aerith/gongaga stuff, tifa nibelheim stuff, red xiii cosmo canyon, cid rocket town, yuffie wutai etc. It's just how we get from one place to the next that's gonna change

I won't lie, I do believe whatever new story the team comes up with is going to suck / be nonsensical and/or super cheesy

however, based on the first one I know the team is still going to hit a lot of the same story beats as the original, so I'm not worried too much

people commonly think that Tri Strat is the Octopath devs follow-up... this is not true.

it really does have that knockoff feel to it. the graphics absolutely do not look better than three houses

well I was wrong. given the warriors' track record with close out games I like boston's chances on thursday. In game 7 though... it's a toss up honestly

the strategy itself is really quite good. character progression could be improved.

the story requires multiple playthroughs, which I wasn't really into. also the music is forgettable.

Is the FFXIII trilogy on here. I've been wanting to play those.

I do think P3P is the best version but I totally get the arguments for FES

for me, I actually prefer the speedy icon interface over the city exploration and the addition of the FeMC puts it over the top (also I've actually never played the Answer but I really only hear bad things).

pretty sure Suikoden 2 was the first video game to make me cry

since then I've cried at a lot of games, but the ones that come to mind are Metal Gear Solid 2, Undertale, Kingdom Hearts 3 (yes... I know. I'm ashamed), Spirit of Justice, Great Ace Attorney, Danganronpa V3
