The only bad thing is that you'll have to deal with Azura much more often now. Even for those that already have Azura, far trace is top tier fodder.

I guess I expected things to be more dreary because I had always heard it described as grimdark. But the wry humor is not to be undersold. Glokta was my favorite POV character with Logan and Jezal following.

First Law Trilogy by Joe Abercrombie - I don't reach much fantasy, but this grimdark trilogy portrays flawed, broken characters that are not your typical tropey heroes: a crippled inquisitioner, a washed-up warrior, a spoiled-brat prince, etc. Abercrombie's writing style is ridiculously readable IMO.

I love the First Law; I'll second this. I found it remarkably funny which I wasn't expecting going into it.

I didn't expect W!Lysithea or any Ascendant to do too well here. They were sparkable without FE pass. Edelgard as the only non sparkable unit is about what you'd expect here.

Elimine or not, Catria is really useful. I used her as my SS captain.

That hero fest lineup kills any chance Catria had in the hero rises vote. I finally got Plumeria off that banner so I'll take that as a win. Hat Larcei from the special hero banner is acceptable.

I had to use 40 summons to get the guaranteed Azura with Midori and Nagi along the way. Now considering spendthrift Rath since I finally have access to it.

There isn't a consistent one. Last year it was the Dark Desert Rituals banner. Katarina, H!Dorothea, Tharja and Raphael. I had forgotten about that one until I went back to check.

Before that, it was TMS and Hot Springs.
