It either needed to be longer or the scenes with Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) should have been cut drastically. He had too much screen time which made the movie seem rushed since they kind of revolved the majority of the movie around his characters schemes. His entire character never brought any sort of resolution to the story but they wasted so much time on him. Subway is rarely packed and you only have to make a sandwich as quickly as the indecisive person on the other side of the glass tells you what goes on next. McDonald's post covid seems like there's a line around the building 24/7 and I'm sure management is on everyone's ass to get the food out there as quickly as possible to hit their target metrics.McDonalds is becoming more self serve. The one I usually go to doesn't allow you to order at the register anymore, only pay. I don't know their exact process to preparing the food, but I can't imagine it taking more than a minute. But every time I'm at Subway, the person in front of me can never decide what they want. And it's usually just one person working there at a time. It starts off with a strong first season, then goes down hill a bit and loses some of its charm in season 2.
