Is the game any good aside from the seemingly literal schizophrenia going on with the dev? Seems to have a lot of positive reviews, but could just be review bombing.

If we could trust the government to provide for children, then I'd say that nobody needs to be burdened with a child they don't want, but the government can't even properly deal with existing children in abusive homes. At this point, burdening both parents unless they put the child up for adoption is about the best we can do to ensure maximum potential for happiness, even if it doesn't always pan out.

I think it's something that requires a higher threshold of thought and planning to have it done well without seeming like cheap shock value, but there's nothing inherently bad about using it as a motivator for a character.

I dont get why these companies will spend millions on this shit instead of just investing in safe, non-intrusive ads that people dont feel like they need to block.

Lisa at her worst is comparable to Family Guy Brian at his worst, so definitely her.

It could help the environment, but you're never going to get a significant enough of the population to care enough for it to actually have any noticeable effect. If we get to the point where it's indistinguishable and cheaper, then that might cause a considerable enough sway.

I've always found control stick inputs to be horribly unintuitive. Don't know if those controllers where all the directionals are buttons would be any better, but that's probably the only way I'd ever be able to do it properly.

its definitely illegal. Taking pics of people in public isnt, but the way he did it is easily considered stalking, which is illegal.

I'd have to imagine several more hurdles would have to be cleared for him to have done something illegal. Probably would warrant kicking him out and possibly banning him from the store though.

Without some new 3D meme stuff, I cannot imagine that Avatar 2 is going to do that well relative to the original. Cameron definitely has his reputation and the success of the first one to sell tickets, but it was a social phenomenon more than a movie.

How often do you change games that it's an issue? I bought Smash and Animal Crossing digital, so I could more easily play them on the daily considering they were longer term games. But otherwise, I don't change out games particularly quickly.

I think you have like 90 days from claiming it to actually choose lump sum or installments, so it makes sense to claim it ASAP and then figure out everything. At most, lawyer up quickly and set up a trust to claim it. I would not leave a 1 billion dollar ticket in the wild for any amount of time.

It was extraordinarily weird they did all the evil, smirky angel faces in the ToP like it was building up to something and then just had it turn out to be nothing.

It's a rather strong 250-ish episodes, but then the anime really starts to rollercoaster in quality. I've never checked out any of the edited episodes, but you might want to look into those once you notice the drag. I just don't know how the editing quality is.

Even excluding the better route of UHC, it is astounding that there has been zero attempt to curb and reduce all this shit due to how much money must be funneled into the pockets of politicians. If this is what it actually cost to run these services, that'd be one thing, but you know that we could probably cut this down by 95% and everyone that matters probably wouldn't lose a single cent of their pay.

I don't see how this doesn't end up as the worst adaptation yet. I don't think there is any satisfactory way to translate the action of the series into live action without movie-level budget, and even that would likely fail. The CGI will be horrible.

Yeah, Goku has been quite flanderized. At his core, he's been a hickish fightoholic for his entire adult life, but Super did no favors for him. Hopefully they'll fix him for EoZ and beyond if they're going that direction.

If you had informed them within like ten minutes and they tried to charge you, that'd be bullshit, but you did occupy all 5 for quite a while. I'd try to have them make it up to you if you're good friends, but just let it go if you're not and maybe reconsider hanging out in the future.

Yeah, I'd second Legacy of Goku. The absolute contrast between the two is astounding. The second one is so much better that it makes you wonder how the first was so inept.

It was pretty fun. The animation style still had a bit of jank here and there, but leagues better than that PS2 garbage in the Broly movie. I really don't understand the compromise in quality some studios are willing to take just to save a few bucks. If techniques like this can mitigate that in the future, that'd be nice.

I think they're good. They actually encourage you to do things, even if they're just dumb little things. Way better than the KILL 1500 ENEMIES WITH THIS ONE METHOD OF ATTACK THAT'S NOT PARTICULARLY GREAT OR FUN TO USE shit that I never do.

I don't know if this particular line of thinking has any actual scientific merit, but I would imagine trying to shoehorn everyone into one method of learning probably has negative effects. Though that's more of an argument for more hands-on, personalized lesson plans than it really has to do specifically with gender.

Hopefully if the show is actually coming back that they manage to find a consistent style and pacing rather than repeating the shitfest that was the first quarter of the first run. One of the top selling series of all time should not have been subjected to that shit.

Feels like a game that didn't have any kind of focus groups to try out the gameplay. It looks like something that could be fun in the best case scenario, but will flop hard on its face. Feels like in-development gameplay for a game set for late 2023, not something less than 3 months away.

I think it's fundamentally impossible for people whose bread and butter is producing outrage content to be good people. Regardless of how they carry themselves, that tinges everything they do.

It's definitely not "harass the creator like a putz" bad, but god that artstyle is just bleh.

The only real problem is the back and forth characterization issues that comes with three different teams writing these characters.

What? They still have multiple other channels and other projects. This particular channel they're posting this stuff on is a lower subbed misc/podcast channel at this point, so none of these commentary videos will get particularly amazing views. This seems like more of doing it for the sake of doing it kind of thing.

Burnout and shit like copyright claims making it a pain in the ass to abridge. Despite their relatively good relationship with the copyrights holders, they still got their channel nuked due to claims from Toei at least twice, if not like three or four times.

The people who feel the need to make smarmy comments on age gaps seem to be the kind of people who are probably just projecting their unhappiness with their current relationship. Suspicions of the older partner having groomed the younger partner as a minor are the only cases worthy of comment.

Batman got way too zippy between like 15 different people at once. I feel like they expanded the scope too much instead of limiting encounters to 5-10 harder to defeat enemies. It makes much more sense for Spider-Man to be zipping around every which way between dozens of opponent because he has much greater freedom of movement.

It's kind of like radio personalities if you see them on a billboard or website. I think you just form this mental image in your head, and the discrepancy between the two just causes some weird instinctual disgust for no reason.
