I've seen people at afternoon rush hour look both ways at a red light and then proceed to floor it through it.

Just Friday, I saw someone make a pass on a double yellow line with oncoming traffic closing in, to gain a single car length. There were multiple cars still in front of them. And the kicker? After surprising the car they passed with their stupid move, they blipped the turn signal while cutting back in front of them.

It seems like people don't use turn signals to show intent. They flash them briefly after they have already thrust their decision onto everyone. I guess so they can go "But I signal" if their stupidity causes an accident

This is another thing I encounter often. Instead sometimes I'll have a person behind me, pass me on the left, speed up and then cut me off just to take an exit that they would have been in the correct lane for if they had just stayed where they were. But no, they had to save those .349 seconds and risk an accident. It's completely dumbfounding the things people do on the road. They have no respect for the multi-ton machine that they're controlling. It's like they've never taken a physics course.

Almost daily I see people ride behind me and then gas it to 60-70 coming to an alternate merge because suddenly they're in a hurry.

Random ass people literally think they're racing when they're on the road, except they have none of the skill of a professional.

Edit: Actually, just saw the whole story. Why were the customers being locked in?

The dining room was likely already closed. It's almost midnight according to the tape. They may have let them in and then locked it behind them so that no other customers would try to get in.

Exactly. The "no one should be immune to mockery" is some recent shit from chuds that want entertainers that reflect their shitty, serious beliefs. If you ask them to explain the funny part of an offensive joke, they'll tell you to get a sense of humor. They either can't or are afraid to tell you how the joke made them laugh. These are the people that keep bad comedians in business, laughing at jokes because jokes are to be laughed at. That's like the opposite of a sense of humor. Insult comedy is a thing, but they act like all comedy is insult comedy and that all insults are acceptable in any context.

I think he's taking a stand against cancel culture and how difficult it is to be a comedian these days. This from an outside perspective as someone who doesn't pay a ton of attention but from what I've read about him and seen he does not strike me as a transphobe or a homophobe.

George Carlin was funny because he was right, not because he "made fun of everything". He had a clear agenda and belief system, just far less shitty than Chappelle.
