wc2 is wheelhouse for hardcore fans, and was truly revolutionary

sc made it better, refined wc2, and was certainly Blizzards 2nd biggest IP behind WOW. But it was very online-centric, which obviously cut out a large portion of players. The only game to really compete with Counterstrike 1.6 (biggest online game ever based on market share); maybe everquest as well, but they were still peasant games compared to BIG VALVE.

wc3 was good for what it tried to be, and certainly had its time, but then they ruined it with the remaster.
