I do think its wrong to make politics into entertainment, from Limbaugh through current late night TV.

I'm sure I'll eventually end up with a PS5 assuming there's ultimately a good slate of games I'm interested in trying...but then again the industry has done a crappy job of making anything that looks interesting to me lately, so we'll see.

Now I amwondering. I know red onion does not agitate my stomach as much as regular onions, so now I am wondering if green onions are worse or "better" to my stomach.

Strike that, foremost I am wondering what green onions are...

Oh... Green onion is just spring/forest onion, which is just an immature regular onion... At least I know the answer to both questions then.
Well, the issue is that the green part of the onion contains quite a bit of air and it gets pretty...frothy if you eat them in bulk. The actual digestion probably would have worked out fine: it was more of a texture issue.

Strangest-feeling puke in my life. :)

If you pick the right one you stop in some interesting spots that you likely wouldn't have gone to otherwise: I enjoyed the 'shore excursions' on my Alaskan cruise.

That said, the big organized-fun, germ-spreading party boat thing isn't for me. Trips to the Dominican/etc are cheap: just go to a nice/gated all-inclusive there if you want to sit around in the sun.

No.

That said, I once had a green onion eating contest with a friend at an OCB. We got a huge plate of them. He gave up after 10 onions or so. I ate 25 or so, took a break, then finished the plate.

I got fairly good notoriety from that. When I told my friends a few years later that I'd thrown up in the bathroom during my 'break' and came back to finish the plate it became a 'wpot' legend. Discomfort is temporary. Freak outs are forever.

I'm 43 and my fingers are just a bit stiffer than they used to be. It's not something I notice for any reason other than peak video game reflexes, but in that case I just recently noticed that my 13-yr-old was able to defeat some bosses in Hollow Knight using reflex-based strategies that I just couldn't quite keep up with. That was disappointing, as I was (and still am) the king of button smashing in my video gaming friend group.

I agree with the comment that I'm hella better than him at pattern recognition/everything else in gaming, though.

I mean, it kinda depends on how far I'm going, right?

Anyways, I live in MN and - while I like it here - there's not a ton in the states immediately surrounding us. I would drive to Chicago, or the Black Hills, or St Louis, or maybe Denver (although that's borderline). Anything further than that and I want a plane. All I see on the drive is corn unless I drive north to lake country so I don't feel I'm missing anything.

My agency has a small 6-seat commuter plane, and I happily use that to fly to meetings in the northern part of the state when available, too: I don't need two 5-hour drives.

Cruises are fine, but I don't like the 'organized fun' they try to force on you.

I legitimately do not understand how people today could think Chrono Trigger is the best game of all time except nostalgia, and I've seen that opinion pretty often here.
I more or less agree. It's not a bad game, certainly, but it's basically a simple right-down-the-middle classic RPG. I love DQ, classic FF, and JRPGs in general and keep trying to love (not just like) Chrono Trigger, but it just doesn't hit enough storyline or gameplay highs to bring it to any kind of next level for me. I put it about halfway between Secret of Mana (a loveable and rather cute classic RPG) and FF6, which I decidedly prefer.
