Yeah Star Allies is fine. And yeah the best part about that game is the post game where you can run through with like 30 different characters from across the series, and some characters even get unique levels.

And yes Return to Dreamland desperately needs a port. I want to hook my Wii U back up literally just to play it

Yeah my lance was +6 for the longest time, and somehow I got a 9 shard very very early on. Then eventually I found a 7 and an 8 back to back so it went from +6 to +9. And also my mimic was +6 for a while, then I found a crypt with tons of gloveworts and it went straight to +10 after that dungeon.

And second Hakamo-o and second Morelull.

There's only a handful of Gen 7 Pokemon I can still hunt with SOS method.

Did you ever play Arcana? It was an old school dungeon crawler HAL released on the Super NES in the early 90s. It predates Kirby, but it actually features the first appearance of Kirby in a video game.

Going back around clearing out dungeons and bosses and places I missed earlier before I go to the second half of the story. This game is so big x_x I'm like level 116 or something. 54 hours. I might go respec. I put a bunch of points into faith, and upgraded my finger charm to like +26 or something riidiculous like that, and my miracles just don't do the damage I was expecting of them.

Yesterday before and after raid in XIV I EV trained and power leveled my Mimikyu and now I'm chainging off a Jangmo-o. Weird that Jangmo-o can't call itself, only its evolutions. Oh well. And, oh yeah, these things literally can't even hit Mimikyu lol

If you want something really dense and really weird, try Malazan. The first book is Gardens of the Moon, and it's very strange and he does not hold your hand with all the weird fantasy concepts. It is very time consuming. But even then Ive had tons of success in gen 6 with XY friend safaris, ORAS dexnav, hordes in both games, and now SOS.

IDK maybe give the Leppa berry method I outlined above a shot, you might get some good stuff. Sometimes SOS hunting takes a few hours, sometimes it takes 5 minutes.

Yeah actually when I got Ultra Moon in 2020, I dipped my toes into wormholes, and I got several shinies, and that's what got me into shiny hunting.

A year and half later and I have 424 shinies spread across gens 6 to 8.

Actually I just realized something. Mimikyu is immune to Normal, Fighting and Dragon moves. That means Jangmo-o literally can't even hit it.

I know what I'm hunting tomorrow.

Oh yeah another hunt I kind of want to attempt is Wimpod. But Wimpod can't SOS call, so I'd have to soft reset for it. I'd maybe borrow my brother's 3DS and Ultra Sun so I'd have 3 consoles going soft resetting but idk how efficiently I could do that. Maybe with practice I could get it down.

I mean, I could Masuda for it, but I've hatched literally tens of thousands of eggs in my life only found 1 shiny, a Rookidee in Sword. And that was roughly at about 1700 eggs, Masuda method and shiny charm. That shit just does not work for me.

So when I SOS hunt, I actually have 2 3DSs going. On this OG red 3DS I have Sun, and I have a blue 3DS XL with Ultra Moon. So tonight on Sun I caught a shiny Bruxish and the shiny Mimikyu. On Ultra Moon I hunted for shiny Exeggcute and didn't get it. I do the Harvest with Leppa Berry method.

1) Encounter the Pokemon you want to hunt for.
2) Use Skill Swap to give the Pokemon the ability Harvest
3) Use Trick or Bestow to give the Pokemon a Leppa Berry
4) False Swipe it to 1 HP
5) Use an Adrenaline Orb
6) Keep knocking out the Pokemon it calls until the shiny spawns

I use Trevenants at the front of my team in both games since they have Harvest as their hidden ability, and they can learn Skill Swap and Trick/Bestow

I also have Octillerys on my teams to use Soak in case I'm hunting a Ghost type. Then whatever will help me hunt fast.

Just explored the capital city for a few hours. It feels like there's still places I haven't seen, and I've killed a couple bosses and some optional not-quite-bosses. Also I hear there's multiple dungeons underneath the city, and I haven't found any of those lol
