Vulpini are literally a division of canines.
"The Caninae are known as canines, and include domestic dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes and other extant and extinct species." As other people have already stated in this topic.

In any event, they probably chose something related to an outright dog because they already had a fire-type dog (Growlithe) and didn't want for it to feel like a repeat. Which means whenever they get to the horse in the Zodiac, they might end up going with something else in the Equidae family like a tapir or zebra since we already have fire horses in Ponyta/Rapidash.

In Japanese, Cyndaquil is the "/hinezumi" Pokemon, with "hi/" meaning "fire," and "nezumi/" meaning "mouse," "rat," or "rodent" at large.

So even in Japanese, it's the "fire mouse" Pokemon.

That said, I almost always choose Water-type as my starter regardless of if they're my fave, especially in more recent generations when I've not really cared for any of the designs so I just default to Water.

Cyndaquil is the "fire mouse" Pokemon, and foxes & dogs are both literally types of canines.

So it's very much close enough to work.

Man, I really don't want a movie. It'd just add to the time we have to wait to get to the ending, and movies always have a longer delay between releasing and getting subs, so that's more time for spoilers to crop up.

Not that a "Final Season Part 2, Part 2" is that enticing either. I think they can just wrap everything up in just 10 or so episodes if they stop going at such a sluggish pace.

We're in the endgame, but there's still an undetermined amount of episodes left in the season.

EW was a solid 8/10. The last third of the story wasn't that great, though, and never felt as climactic or intense as ShB's ending, or even SB's for that matter.

Excited to see what the next arc is gonna be about though.

Cynthia, like most characters, has no official age.

Based off her design in Gen 4, I'd wager somewhere around 28. Then in her mid 30s when you fight her at her beach house in BW.

So she'll be in her 40s by now in the current timeline with Gen 8.

And even then, I'm pretty sure Brock and Misty were aged down in the anime to work alongside Ash being 10.

Brock at least looks like he's in his 20s (or at the least his late teens) in official artwork and post-Gen 1 games that have him. Misty's age is harder to peg, but she looked like a young adult as well in Origins.

Yeah, I think I heard one for, at the latest, Gen 3.

But it wasn't accumulative, it was just for the new Pokemon in that gen.

There's also never been a dolphin Pokemon.

I feel like Okami is the more polished and finished game, but Wind Waker is one of my favorite games in general, and my favorite Zelda for sure.

Yeah, the stuff towards the end of season 3 and start of season 4 are amazing.

Can't imagine reading the manga due to what people said above; the art is just way too sketchy and hard to make out what's going on. Choosing to read it over watching the anime is doing yourself a huge disservice. You just need the music and the animation to enjoy some of these moments to their fullest.

Not saying those girls weren't gullible, as there were red flags from literally the first moment, but it didn't get that extreme until months in and after he had already *established* himself as trustworthy and wealthy. They had no reason to think he wouldn't pay them back at first.

At the same time, he def only targets people who are going to fall for his scheme. He's still in the wrong for doing it.

He's obviously in the wrong. He's basically Dennis Reynolds from Always Sunny, except more competent and not surrounded by idiots. Dude's a complete psychopath.

Sadly, Netflix probably inadvertantly made him more famous by putting this out there. He's getting deals and such now just for being a "star," despite also denying everything they proved.

He's a total scumbag, but he gets off basically scot free while the girls he duped are still paying off the debt he put them in despite the entire world knowing they were victims. Sad to see.

Maybe in that he acts childishly or doucheyly, but Peacemaker has a clearly defined character arc and identity, and it only overlaps with Star Lord occasionally due to how Gunn writes.

Cena really makes the character distinct. It's a good performance.

Yeah, the ending of season 3 changed everything and made it a 10/10 experience for me, even if the pacing does dwindle to a crawl at times.

The first half of season 4 is some of my favorite stuff.

Never knew anyone who hated it.
