I'm watching Abbott Elementary too, but I think I'm behind since I don't remember when I last saw a new episode. I just caught up on Young Justice since S4 part 2 releases later today I think.

The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince

I liked this one. It's pretty short and easy, but VERY cute.

Dual Heavy Thrusting Swords. One Frost and the second with Bleed.

A solo with FL4K and Moze, and a co-op run using Zane with this one guy I've played all the Borderlands shooters with. BL3 was such a massive disappointment though between all the constant nerfs, live service crap, lack of a raid boss at release, and the plot I guess. I wanna like it but there's no point to farming a BL with crappy loot.

@CyricZ Killing Rykard puts a stop to all the assassination quests. Some of the characters like Rya(and I think Patches? Sadly I killed him last playthrough I did the Volcano Manor quests) have their own stuff going on there in addition to the assassinations that Tanith gives you.

You miss out on a ton of gear(including the legendary armament achievement is Bernahl is still alive) and some questlines if you choose to ignore the Volcano Manor assassinations and go through the level itself. I made that mistake on my first playthrough since it was blind :/

Might be working off the base number rather than just the letter grade. I know in Bloodborne the Bloodtinge scaling on the Cannon(super high base AR) gave a higher bonus than some of the pistols(maybe the Evelyn too) despite being a D vs. B/A ranking.

If they did all have sheathes I'd wish they do it like Nioh where you can see your entire loadout on your back/hips. Although it'd probably look really stupid if you actually filled out your 6 weapon slots. Edit: I'm surprised two of you didn't know about post 4, which isn't even new to Elden Ring.

I liked WWZ, you earn points that let you set up turrets, electric fences, barbed wire, upgrade weapons, buy medkits, etc., So it's half shooter, half tower defense mode

Gears 5 Horde devolves into pure Tower Defense once the Engineer has been given enough energy(in-match currency that teammates can share with you). Even the hardest difficulty can feel like a breeze once the turrets and fences can take care of most waves.

One of the erdtree avatars in caelid (the one close to dragonbarrow) gave me 96k runes after i defeated it wtf.

Dragonbarrow stuff is scaled like higher than Altus at times it's weird, and that Putrid Avatar hits hard af if it's the one I'm thinking of.

Between Elden Ring and MH Rise Sunbreak this is looking to be a pretty nice year of gaming for me. If I could see Hollow Knight: Silksong release this year then it's probably gonna turn out to be my favorite year in gaming this decade <_<

Love that game, enough to where I'd probably buy it even though I got it free off PS+. There's a stretch of like 4 bosses that are so much fun for me starting with I think The Hand.

Winged Scythe and Golden Halberd are pretty good I hear. I also want to try the Cleanrot Spear, Maliketh's Black Blade, and Marika's Hammer but people don't seem to like them so maybe they're weak.

Are you using an Arcane build or just Dex for Rivers of Blood? Most of that weapon's value comes from its weapon art and the bleed imo.

Sure. I can't imagine they'd feed it to anyone if they didn't know it was safe. Do I get to choose how it's prepared though?

When I beat her on my Arcane character she didn't even summon. Just kept running away and using that slow ass spell that looks like the Homing Soulmass or whatever from Dark Souls. I'm glad you don't have to fight the Troll, Dragon, and Bloodhound summons but I wonder if Fromsoft was considering it. Those godawful snails get to keep their summons, but not this Demi-god Sorceress queen?

I've thought about triple dipping on Okami myself. First played it on PS2 but it was a used copy, then I bought it digitally on a PS3 that YLOD'd. I was too salty about losing my saves since I didn't back them up, so I never finished it a second time. I'll probably go back to it someday. Also:

The giant skeletons with the optic blast have so much health omg, or maybe it's just the one's summoned by the red Albinaurics.

First time I beat her was with Mimic Tear and Moonveil. Second time was a solo on NG+, but with pre-nerf Hoarfrost Stomp. I am terrified of my eventual third fight with her, where I'll have to finally git gud.

Finished my third playthrough and got the last achievement I needed. I'm still interested in trying out the other Arcane weapons that caught my eye, but I might take a break from Elden Ring.

I'm about to finish my third playthrough and can confirm that Rivers of Blood(but really Corpse Piler) is stupid. Eleanora's whatever also had a good weapon art for staggers.

It wasn't until after my first playthrough that I found out L1/L2 can be used to attack from the left side of your horse <_<

A dagger and the weaker version of a Talisman next to the Bestial Sanctum become unobtainable due to some newly added killzones that keep you from dropping.

Loved it. It was after ME1 iirc, so I guess it was the last Bioware game I truly liked.

I didn't have the Physick Tear that stopped his phase transition attack, so I just chugged three flasks through it. If you do have it then you can wail on him while he's saying Nihil(x3). His second phase isn't too bad so just don't panic at that point. Someone also mentioned the Shackle item which iirc is pretty close to his weaker fight under Leyndell.

I like putting the Tree Sentinel helm on the Leyndell Knight set. I also like the Ronin set w/ Rogier's Hat, Night Rider Cavlary set, Hoslow's Set, and Malenia's Set(haven't worn this though because I don't want it on my male character <_<).

TIL the Carian Knight's Sword guards attacks on charged 2H R2's. I didn't check 1H or uncharged, but this is pretty neat.

We got another tornado alert on our phones like half an hour ago, so that was no fun(it's almost 2AM). The rain did get loud for a bit but then it died down again.

My 2nd highest rated message is "Lake ahead, but Fire!" for one of the lava areas in Volcano Manor.

Um I imagine there is a boss in the underground area where you access the forest. We're looking for some city but like it just feels luke warm to journey that far and not have even a boss fight. Am I missing something? I got the map but I can't tell where one would be.

I take it you went down the Mistwood elevator? If so, there's a boss you can fight there after you light up the 8 or so torches.

Malenia is just not fun. I kinda felt like every time I took on Orphan of KOS in Bloodborne I got a little better each time. This? Fuck this.

Find something to stunlock her and abuse her openings. Whether that's jumping attacks, Weapon arts, or whatever works for you. She has very little poise and staggers kinda easily.

V by far, both in terms of the character himself and actual gameplay. I also enjoy Ender Lilies, where you play as this girl named Lily who can't do anything on her own besides dodge and jump. Even the movement upgrades require the use of the bosses you beat(which also turn into more moves for you prvoided you equip them).
